“While the name Kinship Butcher and Sundry might not proclaim the promise of a decent cuppa, it does serve respectable coffee. Perhaps it’s the sundry that should be more focused on in this instance. The price is even competitive with its loftier rivals. A most unexpected triumph.
The outdoor seating proves quite a delight, granting one the pleasure of observing the crisp fall air go about its business, entirely indifferent to human affairs. There is, without fail, a dog or two wandering about, each presenting itself as if auditioning for the role of “Most Pettable Creature in the County.” One perhaps oblige to that.
Should one, find oneself in need of exorbitantly priced butchered meats, the establishment hosts such wares with operatic flair, though I remain steadfastly loyal to my coffee alone, focusing on Sundry instead of the Butcher part.
The locale affords a most agreeable evening stroll through Virginia Highland at sunset. The streets glow with a warm, mellow light that suggests the world is briefly at peace. But of course, serenity is a fickle mistress.
For as darkness gathers, so too does the impending doom of the bar scene. Middle-aged revelers and collegiate youths alike emerge from the shadows, converging with the enthusiasm of soldiers charging into battle, though with considerably worse aim. Their voices swell into a great, unrestrained roar, as though each believes himself the tragic hero of his own ale soaked soliloquy.”
“Best meat market around. I’m sad we moved and it isn’t right down the road anymore. Whenever I go, I load up for our family of 5. Everything is quality: the salmon, steak and other seafood. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I hope they consider a second location closer to the city.”
“Tony's Meat Market is amazing. Not only is the owner Tony an incredible human, he buys some of if not the best meat you can get your hands on before you get into American Wagyu. He sells nothing but Prime Beef, but not just ordinary Prime Beef. He sells Certified Agnus Beef - Prime Grade. Not only does his beef have to meet the marbling grade for Prime. It has to meet the 10 specs to be Certified Angus Beef as well. Regular Prime Beef can come off a 5 year old dairy cow if the marbling score meets the marks for Prime. Certified Angus Beef-Prime has a long list of boxes to check to get that CAB Stamp of approval.”

“I travel from another state just to get meat from here. Their prices, as well as their quality, are great! I always ask for Javaid, and he always takes care of my order.”

“Went for the first time on Saturday, and I could not recommend more highly. Rusty was so helpful, and he had a great selection. We bought several things and though we've only had the brined pork porterhouse so far, I had to go ahead and write a review. It was the best pork chop we've ever eaten. So incredibly juicy and tender - will be back for more very soon. You just can't get this kind of meat at a grocery store!”
“Great store, immaculately clean, good selection but what shines, even more, is the exceptional service from the owner and the beautiful meats and marinated kabobs. Quality 5⭐plus”
“Good selection. I really like that the products are locally sourced and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
5 stars if not for the surcharge for Employee health insurance and sick time. I didn’t see anything that mentioned that pricing model when I was looking for what I needed. I think better transparency or maybe including the cost of employee health insurance and sick time into the price of the product is what I would prefer rather than being surprised with the surcharge after the purchase.”
“We found this amazing little deli by accident one day when we were just out and about and so glad we did, the lunch specials are always delish! To boot the butchered meats are fantastic.”
“We went here to buy some El Milagro tortilla chips and some corn tortillas, and we saw the little restaurant on the side and decided to try 2 chicken tacos. They were DELICIOUS! The chicken here is fantastic and all staff members were very friendly. To the right, you can see all the meats, then you'll see a few isles in the middle with a lot of the essentials, and the restaurant will be to the left. There's a fridge in the back. I've never had tacos at 10am but I would do it again in a heartbeat if I find myself in that area!!!”

“The owner is a very nice person. The store seems to have everything Jamaica that you possible want. I heard one customer say "I grew up on this soap". I will go back again and again.”
“A few things I’d like to point out, first, the quality of meat was excellent. I was expecting great meat but it beat my expectations. Second the prices are AMAZING!!! Everyone in there is so friendly and very helpful… I am so happy.that found this location Alhamdulillah! I literally stuck up for me and my family for the entire month every time I come. THANKS FOR THE FRESHEST MAET AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!???”
“Most important it's clean! It never has that nasty raw meat smell like so many other places. Food prices are good considering inflation everywhere. I filled two deep freezers for $265.00 just the other day. Krogers wanted 27.99 for just a pack of wings. I bought a whole meat package for $30.00. Big difference in quality and quantity for sure.”
“The Taqueria is bright, clean and has a broad Menu of Taqueria dishes and sides. Excellent service at counter and food came quickly, even the fried whole fish, which was only $10.99!”

“This place is AMAZING. Nice staff and you can almost find anything on these shelves. Their meat is 100% ZABIHA, so you don't have to worry about anything. Recommended to all my colleagues. I recommend it to you too.”
“Great Service!!! Great meat products!!! The butcher is super friendly and goes above and beyond to get you what you need!!! I can't say enough good things about this place!!!”
“Huge selection, a ton of imported products mainly 99% from Mexico, great service, neat and clean, well lit, small store not your enormous chain supermarket, let's call it mini market. You will have a hard time finding parking spaces, nice vibe.”
“I'd highly recommend their veg fed , all natural chicken.
It tasts so good and tender.
Baby goat and lamb is the best in town.
We use it for all our catering needs.”
“Iykyk Tucker Meat Market is a burger lover paradise! The burger is bacon and patty mixed! They also have wings. I got the Mammoth burger combo with seasoned fries and a can drink it's massive! I drink my soda while waiting for my order. The price is around the price range of Five Guys combo but they don't compare! My pic ? is okay not enough justice the width and depth of this burger with the brisket and onions and jalapeños is something else! My cousin and his wife love this ever since he visited my bro bought them a combo. Don't take my word walk, run or pull up asap to see for yourself! Everything is fresh and hot in house! I visited on 8/2/2024. If you look at City Of Tucker Business Of The Month! The best picture of this burger ever!”
