I went to donate a CPAP machine and supplies. The person I spoke with prior regarding the donations was off and no one else knew what to do with the donation but everyone was trying to find out what to do with it. They were all friendly and helpful.

I pray everyday that Angela Williams will call me back it's been also 2 years now ,I've left over 20 voice messages I call sometimes 3 or 4 times a week , I noticed some people are satisfied with the service and I wonder why they were helped and I'm not even getting a return phone call .

I was in the office this morning waiting on my case worker and Oh God this fight I saw in the office was super crazy. I love the way the young black man handles it he didn't curse which the other big guy was, but the other guy didn't curse, and he was really nice and i love how he handle the solution. i told him after outside i said young man you handle that really way and proud to see a black man talk that way, he said he from Africa so can see where the sugar coming from.but i love this office thank u

I received a call on my answering service from a young lady that apparently doesn't exist that said she was calling about my rental application . The crazy thing is nobody will call me back. I thought I could get housing. It is so frustrating dealing with this company. Everyone there has a home, I am just trying to get one

It has taken me a long time to come forward about my negative experience with disABILITY Link. I am a former employee, worked for 2 years, and the reason this place is getting any stars is because of the employees. They are a great bunch. Special mention to Linda and Ken, but the office is full of loving people.The great exception to this is Kim Gibson. She fired many employees during my time there. Most were women or queer people. Many were fired right after vacation or sick leave. One person was fired right after being hospitalized.She is highly critical of employees despite them doing good work with the community (my opinion is she doesn't like anyone more successful than her). She personally refused to give me a raise after 2 years of solid work performance. I had rave reviews from all supervisors. I learned later that there were available funds, she just did not want to pay me more.Employee issues aside, I have had many friends share their experience with trying to receive services from disability link. One friend was taking job classes with them for several years (this never amounted to employment even though he was highly engaged in the process). He missed one class and got yelled at from the program manager about being lazy. The reason he has missed the class was to attend a funeral of his close friend. He chose to stop receiving services after this negative experience.A different friend went for an intake appointment and she was yelled at for not attending a class that morning. This friend has a strong trauma history and had just lost her mother-- one of the reasons she was seeking disABILITY LINK services. This meeting was very negative and she chose to no longer receive services from disABILITY LINK.The board at disABILITY Link has been notified numerous times about these concerns and no action has been taken. While the mission of disABILITY Link is powerful, and many of the employees work hard for the community, the organization as a whole has done an immense amount of harm to employees and consumers.I do not recommend people work here or receive services from this organization.
