I commended Samaj on a clean well organized store. There are very few clean and neat General Dollar’s. I do take in consideration of staffing but items are sometimes left in boxes on the floor for days and they expect you to come back because it is an inconvenience to them, the workers, to get it out the boxes. I am coming to this location from now on. Also very friendly customer service.

Not open on time... sometimes 30 min late or more which is inconvenient since I could've stopped at another store on the way to work. 😫

The staff is very enthusiastic and friendly. Some of the shelf space has outsourced to 3rd party vendors to manage stock and inventory. There's a recurring discrepancy between the marked prices and the prices at the register. If you choose to shop here, please be aware that the market price may be more expensive at checkout.
This corporation has a reputation of this price discrepancy gimmick, so be aware of this recurring issue.

I want to share my review of this location to raise awareness about an incident I experienced. During my visit, I overheard a customer make racist remarks about Latinos to the store manager, and unfortunately, the manager responded by laughing along rather than shutting it down. When I went to the counter to pay I confronted the store manager samaj, and she immediately got very defensive with me and stated their conversation was none of my business, and on top of that refused me service for the medicine I went there to buy.
I immediately reported the incident to the district manager, who assured me that the matter was being handled as they take racism very seriously, although they would not be able to provide details due to policy. A little over a week later I was told the situation had been handled with the manager. While I appreciate that he took the issue seriously, I cannot guarantee the extent of the disciplinary actions taken. I was told, however, that unless I represent a physical threat to somebody, or am acting in a hostile way, the manager is not allowed to refuse anyone service just because she can't handle being confronted.
I’m sharing this to alert others, as such behavior is unacceptable in any setting. The manager obviously handled that situation horribly, and for any Latinos, Asians, or any other immigrants who feel attacked right now, don't forget that you have rights, and people are not allowed to refuse you service nor do you need to accept any form of racism, or disrespect. I hope future incidents like this are addressed with the seriousness they deserve to ensure a welcoming environment for all. Have your camera ready!

The clerk started yelling at me when I asked about a digital coupon that did not apply. Just rude for no reason… I just left the items and walked away. Not one has time for that.

This is your regular old city Dollar general. Stock is low on just about everything, not like the rural dollar generals where stuff stays stocked. Employees are friendly and cool, just don't show your a. Clearance section is also minimal. But perishables are typically up to date-- that's the good thing about high stock turnover, so if you need milk, you're good, and it's the same price as Walmart across the street.

My visit today at this store was so unpleasant and unpleasant. The manager by the of Rod or Ron basically accused me of stealing because of his unattentiveness. I'm came in the store to do a return and this manager guy was so into the phone call he misunderstood my reason for returning and charged me for the merchandise I brought into the store. After leaving & returning back to the store he basically accused me of not bringing in the merchandise and I told him to run your cameras back. Eventually he took my advice and didn't apologize for being disrespectful and wrong for falsely accusing me. I won't stop calling corporate until he is fired.

Placed an online pick up order yesterday at 1pm to be picked up between 4-5pm. I get there at 4:50pm to pick up my order and the cashier tells me "we don't do that." Well according to your app that allowed me to place and pay for the order says otherwise. I called corporate this morning and they too advised this location DOES offer pick up orders. So why wasn't my order completed yesterday? And how coincidental that I did not receive any mesages about any issues with my order until AFTER I left the store. 0/10 would not recommend. Corporate will be contacting you to follow up with the terrible service I received since I know I won't get any answers from the store.

Thankful for the new store manager. She has come in and gave the store a full make over. Product is now in stock, cashiers are courteous and store is clean. To corporate: please do not overwhelm this team. Since pandemic started world is different. Be kind and courteous to each other. Additionally, we are all human. Not robots.

I went in this place today, and it was by far the most organized and cleanest Dollar General I've ever been to! Cudoz to the manager and staff at this Chamblee Tucker location! ???
