I went through my local EMC to get a new heat /ac system. Cost was $5000.00, which energy financial financed. The payment was added to my power bill each month. After 3 years I was notified that my debt had been repaid. A few weeks later I received a notice that I owed $118.00 for accidental death insurance. I have a copy of the contract, which I reviewed. The contract says the insurance is optional and has to be approved by the borrower, me. While their representative was at my home going over the contract no mention of insurance was disclosed. I didn’t ask for, or sign for the insurance. I’ve had several phone conversations with a rep at the Tucker location. I have ask for proof that I signed and okayed the insurance. I have NOT been shown any evidence of this. Apparently EF is adding this without the borrower’s knowledge or approval. Now EF has reported to Equifax and it’s on my credit report. I have told them if they could show me that I approved and signed a document asking for the insurance I would pay them. But like I said, they have not shown me anything. Personally I think they just automatically added the $118.00 because that’s the way they do business. Show me where i approved and signed for this.

Been a 30 year customer. Today is my last day with them !!! They charge you a priemium to use their services but gives you the bare minimum on your money. 26k is being moved today to my bank!!! Drew sealed the deal by what he offered on a new car loan %11...Bye bye !!!

I have been a member of the credit union for 20+ years. (Formerly GEMC Credit Union) I was a little reluctant when I heard that they were changing their name. The customer service is always amazing. Everyone is very helpful and addresses your needs in a timely manner. They care about their members and it gives you a sense of the banks many years ago with that small town feel. Nothing like the big name banks.

Every time I have ever called them for the past 15 years, I have had excellent customer service. They are ready and willing to help us with all of our car loans at low interest rates. We appreciate their service.

I've banked with Go Energy for over 8 years now. The customer service has ALWAYS been above and beyond. Lisa and Jomi are both friendly and great on any assistance needed. :)

Go Energy Financial has a very courteous staff and has great rates compared to larger institutions. I just became a customer over the past year and have been pleased with their communications on our HELOC.
