Customer service terrible. African American sales associate wanted me to pay cash for a new phone. I was at the store on a Saturday. Manager light skinned didn't say a word. Scamming at this location. I won't be back EVER!

James (the owner) was nice and helpful at first until the new phone I purchased from him had ongoing issues with text messages not being received on the other end. He gave me a new older phone at his own expense, that's nice and spent a lot of time trying to find solutions. But my issues was, he didn't want to admit that the older version phones are the issues with the updates and Metro's coverage/ signal is not good enough. His solution was to change my phone number twice within a week! (don't ever do that, it's a nightmare) and at the end, it was still not solved and he blamed me for it and told me not to come back basically. I left very discouraged, upset and disappointed.
I went to AT&T and with their promotion, I got the newest Samsung phone and with their deal, I ended up paying almost the same price and better coverage (AT&T has other issues but it did eventually solve my problems).
The reason for my posting is not to bash James necessarily but to let people know that if there's a glitch in your text message, don't let anyone tell you it's the number issues. It will be most likely the older version phone issues and coverage issue though Metro won't ever admit that probably.

James saved the day. After going to several different locations trying to get some information about my account I was extremely discouraged. James over heard my asking the lady up front about my issue he jumped right in happy to help. It was so refreshing to have someone listen and help if I could give this store a 100 stars I would. For any needs with your metro account go see James him and his entire staff are friendly helpful and professional
