I recently took my Schnauzer to Pest Mart for grooming in La Vista Road, requesting the usual Schnauzer cut. Unfortunately, the grooming job was extremely disappointing. The only thing left in the Schnauzer style were his eyebrows; it looked like they took a machine and shaved everything else indiscriminately. This is not the service I expected.To make matters worse, my dog is now exhibiting strange behavior. He's jumpy and scared when I try to touch him, which is very unusual for him. I can't help but worry about what might have happened to him during his grooming.While I was at the grooming salon, I also witnessed a staff member screaming at another dog. This is unacceptable behavior, especially from professionals who are supposed to handle pets with care and calmness.This experience has been distressing for both me and my dog. Below are pictures of his current appearance and how he looked before. I hope this feedback helps others. They only took 30 minutes on his grooming.

Great shopping experience! The employees were so helpful and kind. I explained to them that I just adopted my cat and that I was shopping for some affordable pet supplies.

This place is VERY unorganized and at times can be unprofessional not to mention always looking unsanitary…I brought my dog here and the groomer he originally had was amazing but she left and I then proceeded to come because it was close to proximity and another groomer I thought did a good job. However, she is late or has an attitude and mostly it’s the lack of professionalism and organization that made me discontinue my services. Tread lightly when coming to this store don’t have high expectations. All petsmarts are not like this but sadly today is my last day bringing my baby here.

The veterinarian was very unprofessional gave my dog the wrong medication which made her ill and he did not show any concern at all. Just was pushing for me to do surgery. I will not take my dog back here ever again!!!

Friendly staff, clean store, great selection on foods, toys, and other pet care products. The only drawback is that sometimes their stock levels don't match their online store inventory.
