Red Roof Express is a gas station with clean bathrooms, described as the cleanest some have ever seen. It offers a huge variety of items, snacks, drinks, and souvenirs at cheap prices. The staff is noted as welcoming and alert, though one morning employee is mentioned unfavorably. A significant warning is given to avoid the heat-and-eat sandwiches from the cooler due to mold. The bathroom floors can also be very slippery. It provides free parking and is generally considered a very nice place to stop.
Usually I like to stop here for a quick restroom break and to buy vapes and Southern Yell apparel, but the restroom was out of order and was told that I could not use the other restroom. Just glad it wasn't an emergency. It's disappointing seeing a good place like this fall into disrepair.
