The Tybee Beach Pier and Pavilion is a popular and scenic spot on Tybee Island, offering beautiful views of the Atlantic and the sands. Visitors enjoy walking along the long pier, which features benches, seating, and shaded areas, making it a relaxing place to enjoy the ocean breeze and take photos. The area has several food stands and vendors, but all transactions are cash only, with an additional $4 charge per transaction at the atmosphere. Nearby, people can rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach or find numerous restaurants within walking distance. The site is well-maintained, with bathrooms, vending machines, picnic tables, and a large covered area, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere often complemented by music. Visitors have shared memorable moments, including a first-time stingray sting, for which the helpful first aid staff provided quick relief. While parking can be challenging, the area is worth visiting for its views, relaxing environment, and convenient beach access. However, some visitors note that the atmosphere can be affected by groups of teens, which can sometimes disrupt the mood. Overall, the Tybee Beach Pier and Pavilion is a fun, scenic, and enjoyable destination on Tybee Island.

Was very packed but was an amazing beach to hang out at. Wasn’t rocky at all and was just an overall nice beach!
