Shaun at the Tybee P.O. is a rose among thorns. In a world where quality customer service and knowledge of the job are things of the distant past, Shaun stands alone as a shining beacon of light in the gloom. For some reason I have frequent troubles with package deliveries, but Shaun always knows exactly what to do and is extremely friendly and helpful every time I stop in with an issue, which he immediately is able to resolve efficiently and effortlessly. He is definitely getting invited to the BBQ. If I was able to give more than five stars in this review, I absolutely would. Alas, five will have to suffice, though it doesn’t do him the justice he deserves.

The staff are courteous and welcoming. It is a small town post office, both efficient and friendly.

Avoid using USPS as a carrier if having items shipped to Tybee Island. Only 3 out of 5 packages were delivered to the house by USPS. When I went to the post office to pick up the other 2 packages the post office worker refused to hand them to me citing policy since they were being delivered to a vacation rental. She then tagged them as undeliverable and returned them to sender AFTER I left empty handed. I know Amazon will refund the money but how unprofessional and inconvenient for everyone involved.

Zero customer service. The attendant didn’t even look at me or talk to me. They were too busy on a zoom call. Tossed stamps at me. Not impressed.

Incredibly slow package sits in the back three days before you get it had to wait in line and then they tell me they can't find my package I'll have to come back tomorrow who's ever running this place needs to be fired and this place deserves negative a hundred Stars

Clerk told me if I wanted to pay .40 per stamp for post card stamps I would have to buy whole books. Not too big a problem but either she was wildly untrained or lying because she didn't feel like separating the books. Her rude attitude and unfriendly demeanor makes me think she was just lying. Either way. Worth the travel time to Savannah to be treated like a human.

This place is always closed every time I go. This place has always had wonky hours and I’m not a fan of that.

Tybee usps, setting a low bar lower. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff, and mail sorting slower than imaginable. What else could go wrong with a post office?

I really want to love our little post office on our 3 mile island but I’m convinced the people working hate their jobs. They are never personable and seem annoyed to be there. I get it can be a stressful job and dealing with the public is tough but smiling and being friendly with people goes a long way. I work in customer service myself...if you don't like people than please get a new job!!!

Cute little post office with always a friendly face to help you . They have a drive up drop off mail box as you exit the parking lot. I've dropped many a postcard in this mailbox since last month (Dec. 2019) I moved to Savannah and come out to the island as much as I can. ?
