If I could leave 0 stars I would. My children were here at this daycare for no more than 2-3 months and already unenrolled. I know kids are going to be kids but a kid bit my child TWICE within 8 days, the first bite was on his arm and the second on his face. THATS DISGUSTING AND I wasn’t notified either time until I picked my child up!!!! Their resolution was moving my child up to another classroom rather than take disciplinary action against the child thats doing the biting. Now another kid can possibly get bit and what’s going to happen the kids are going to have to keep getting moved? I would not recommend this daycare at all! The negligence against the babies is a parent’s worst nightmare. They are not nurturing people at all. The infant room is different and have great teachers and also the 1 year old teacher is great but the daycare as a whole I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Ms Reed and Bell has to be the most despicable human beings on the planet. Do not i repeat if you are looking for a job DO NOT WORK HERE , they will make you work while your sick and wont let you leave and will blame it on them being short staffed. Which mean your kids can get sick easily if you send them there. Ms bell old a*ss love to talk about the after school children to each other and is very messy and disrespectful. Ms Reed never lets anyone talk so good luck having trying a grown conversation with her and she has no remorse for her employees but she won’t fire them she don’t have to pay unemployment… how sneaky. And she also breaks labor laws by not paying overtime and does not give breaks everyday. & if your kids have a scratch she will try to cover it up SAVE YOURSELVES !!!!

I don't normally write reviews; but my daughter will be attending here next year and my son attended here in the past for his Pre-K; and I must say that Mrs. Reed is a phenomenal administrator. She personally takes the time to know each and ever child and parent that walks through Gems. She is one of the reasons I felt safe sending my son to school here three years ago as well as allowing my daughter to attend here next Fall. She is truly the embodiment of Gems and strives to make sure that not only are the children happy but the parents are very satisfied with the overall upkeep of the school and professionalism from the staff. My son has a food preference and was never given anything other than what I requested for him. Mrs. Reed has even gone to the extent to contact me personally in the past and let me know that food options for my son might not be available as requested but that they would work diligently to offer him another appropriate option of my choosing. This is a beautiful school and you can really see the love and compassion that all of the staff have in the facility. They have very high standards for their staff, that as a parent, you can see trickle down into the children and their overall respect for the staff. I am very excited for my daughter to be attending here this following school year. And I am even more pleased to here that Mrs. Reed is still the head administrator, like with my son; because she is the main reason I feel secure in sending my children here. It's a shame the false reviews disgruntled staff will write; because as a parent, I know that, that is a false allegation toward Mrs. Reed. She is truly an amazing woman and this is truly an amazing school.

I love Gems and I really love Mrs. Reed she is awesome she knows me and my son personally. My child went there with the owners before and the new owner now and she has remained head administrator for a reason because she goes above and beyond for her staff and children. She always has a smile on her face and greets every child with a smile and by name. Anyone who has sent their child to Gems know how much she goes above and beyond for everyone. It's disgusting how someone is trying to defame her character because she is the compassion in Gems.

I love Gems Academy! From the beginning Mrs. Reed ensured me my son would be fine and I promise you she lived to that expectation! My son has attended this school for 2 years and I’ve never had an issue. I would recommend this school to anyone, and I mean that! I feel like we’re a family so if you’re looking for a family COME ON JOIN GEMS LEARNING ACADEMY

My son has been going here for a year now and they are awesome. Ms Reed is the best ever. Always so informative and professional. She’s willing to go above and beyond for her students and parents. The teachers are awesome and my son is learning a lot. They are apart of my village and I appreciate them so much.

My child attends here and I know Mrs. Reed personally and I've watched staff come and go from here that are not up to professional standards. Mrs. Reed is very strict on her staff to insure the safety of not only the children but also staff and overall well-being of the school. As a parent of a child who attends here I find it my duty to recommend this school to others and as an attorney Mrs. Reed if you need me for defamation of character please feel free to contact me; You have my number.

For those writing false reviews YOU are the problem, and this goes to show why you were let go.My 13yr and 9yr old went here. Now fast forward to 2022 my now 2yr old attends and has been since the infant class. This daycare doesn't play no games they are by the bright from the start book, but the way they love on these kids I feel like they are everyone's favorite aunties and uncles. They staff is amazing lead by Mrs Reed she is very choosey on who she hires she doesn't play about our babies.. Gems gets a 10/10 for professionalism, timely manner of bringing the kids out when it's time to go, cleanliness, affordable rates, and the daily reports.

I have had my 2 kids in Gems learning Academy for 8 months now and I must say I am impressed with what Ms Reed is doing there, she has been on top of everything to make sure they are ok and patiently ask and explain everything to us the parents as to what to be expected both from us and the school. She is simply amazing and cares a lot about her kids.

Do not I repeat do not allow your child to attend this facility the teachers aren’t the problem it’s the front desk lady ms Reed she doesn’t care about the children she belittles her employees she talk to the kids any type of way and yell at them she’s unprofessional and rude not to mention she serves food to kids that they are allergic to and doesn’t take accountability she blames the teachers but she also tell the teachers that parents don’t come for them they come for her ms reed

Awesome staff. My 17 month old is a late-bloomer who is struggling walking on his own. The staff is amazing. I find that they're working with him consistently throughout the day to help him walk. My son is showing great progress and I am very grateful. Former daycares he has attended never took out the extra time. I appreciate Gems working with me to get him where he needs to be. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for childcare in this area!

Do not ever enroll your child here...I had a walk through of this facility before enrolling my child. I informed them that my son, who is 2, is hyperactive. I asked them what their methods were for handling hyperactive children. They assured me that since the playground is accessible from every classroom a teacher would be able to take him outside and let him burn off some extra energy. That was not the case. After about a month they began sending my son home everyday for one reason or another. “He has a runny nose, it’s a state violation” I explained to them that he has seasonal allergies as well as my daughter who also was enrolled in this school. They NEVER sent my daughter home. He was sent home 3/5 days a week. The final straw was one night I went to pick my children up from the daycare, I was surprised that they hadn’t called for me to pick him up early, and my son is drenched in sweat. He’s covered in a rash and has a fever of 102.3. They never once called me because he was “good”. He wasn’t “good” he was quiet. He was quiet because he was lethargic. My son had Scarlet Fever and I was never informed. I threw a fit about it and the owners decided to unenroll my son stating that they “do not have the resources to accommodate a mentally challenged child”. My child is not mentally challenged my child is hyperactive. Instead of taking the time to learn who he is, or find out how he operates they chose to send him home everyday and still take my money. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PLACE. This place almost killed my son. I will be reporting them to the state they need to close this place immediately. Your comfort is not more value able than a child’s life.

If there was anything under 1Star that’s exactly what they would get! Horrible school! All the low rating reviews are indeed true! This place needs to be investigated thoroughly. Management is awful, teachers lack professionalism & most of the teachers are not even State Certified. Be careful who you allow to care for your precious kids when you’re not around. They intimidate the kids and put fear in them, they physically and verbally abuse these babies!! And when it get back to the parents management try to cover! They do have cameras but everytime something happen they never show them!! Be mindful of this center!!
