Valdosta Home Depot is the worst store in the world!! I go to other Home Depot's and they're clean and people are friendly but not this one. Bought something on line and went to pick it up curbside, waited an hour before I was acknowledged, during that wait I seen 5 employees look at me, and kept walking! Tried to call the store and no one would answer. When I finally got my things an hour and a half later I get ready to drive off and found I was one short so had to go back. Spoke with customer service and she was the rudest person on the planet, like no sorry for your long wait!!!! What a joke! Hate going in this store!!! Won't let you give a 0 rating!!!

If I could give them a zero star, I would! Tried to return an item, system was down. Did my other errands and tried to call before driving all the way back to see if system was working again and could not get anyone to answer the phone. I let it ring for 4 minutes!

By far the laziest people I've ever seen. The sorry bastards in the store wouldn't even help the me load 2500 worth of doors I bought.. the poor girl from customer service was trying to help.

Hi, I'm Angela and I am an avid supporter for childhood development, and this Home Depot does it spot on. My son and daughter, Jack Jr. & Peppa, love going in and building their builder kits and wearing their orange aprons every time we visit on the first Saturday of the month. This Home Depot is doing a great job from management, to cashiers and everyone in between. Way to go, 5 stars from Angela

IT APPEARS THAT IF YOU BUY AN APPLIANCE AT HOME DEPOT AND DON'T BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY HOME DEPOT WILL NOT HELP YOU IN ANY WAY DURING THE INITIAL ONE YEAR GUARANTEE. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH THE APPLIANCE. IF YOU LOOK AT HOME DEPOT'S WEBSITE THERE IS NO COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT NO ONE AT HOME DEPOT WILL HELP YOU IN PERSON OR ON THE PHONE OR ON THE INTERNET YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT IT VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT I SPENT $795.76 MY WASHING MACHINE HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR 6 WEEKS NOBODY AT HOME DEPOT CARES AND I'M STILL PAYING TO GET LAUNDRY DONE YOU CAN SEE THE EXACT DETAILS BELOW at the time of purchase I was offered an extended warranty but was not informed that my warranty was only with the manufacturer during the original one year guarantee if anything goes wrong with it and Home Depot would not help you in any way to get to Guaranty taken care of On May 19th 2022 I purchased a GE washing machine at Home Depot in Valdosta GA. Order Number H0140-123014 Store SKU #174602 for $698.00 + $30.00 haul away + $20.98 Hoses and tax total $795.76 On May 24th 2022 a GE Profile washing machine model PTW600BSR1WS Serial Number FT965003g was delivered to my home and installed by Home Depot in Valdosta GA. On Monday September 12th 2022 my wife tried to do a load of wash but the washing machine failed to come on I called Home Depot and ask about my warranty and they told me I had to go through GE and I should call 1 800 GE Cares that is 1-800-432-2737It turns out the cute phone number is BS GE doesn't care. When I finally got GE on the phone they referred me to the service provider in Valdosta which is Eubanks ApplianceI Called Eubanks Appliance at 229-242-6858Eubanks Appliance gave me a confirmation number 067427319 and told me the soonest they could come was Monday the 19th Between 1 and 7 PMThe technician from Eubanks Appliance showed up late Monday afternoon he looked at the washing machine pushed a few buttons and I told me the same thing that I told the secretary on the phone a week earlier. The technician from Eubanks Appliance told me he needed to order parts and he would come back to do the repair with the parts came in.I asked how long that would take he said I could call the office the following week and ask them when the parts would be in.When I called Eubanks Appliance on the 26th they had no idea when the parts were going to come. I went to Home Depot and asked if there was any possibility that I could return the washing machine since they couldn't get parts and was told NO. I've been without my washing machine for about a month and I've spent a little over $240.00 on doing laundry. I went to Eubanks Appliance on the 17th of October and was told one part came in the other two will never come in there not available. I went back to Home Depot and ask to speak to the manager the person I spoke to said he was the manager but I don't believe he was. HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT HOME DEPOT DOES NOT HELP IN ANY WAY WITH THE ONE-YEAR WARRANTY IF YOU DON'T BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM HOME DEPOT NO ONE AT HOME DEPOT WILL HELP YOU.I AM STILL PAYING TO GET MY LAUNDRY DONE I STILL HAVE A BRAND-NEW BROKEN WASHING MACHINE

ZERO OUT OF TEN. literally waited 40 minutes to get a gallon of paint. ITS RIDICULOUS. every associate i asked said they'd page someone but nobody came and only one associate paged out of the whole 40 minutes. it took another lady to complain about the wait for myself as well for them to page again.

Spent 7,600$ for appliances. We were told that even though our house was 18 miles away the new 3rd party delivery company would not deliver to us?We arranged to pick up on May 25th. When we realized our house would not be ready for appliances we called the delivery company and changed date to June 9th. The appliances were still delivered on May 25th, the manager we spoke to said he had a record of my husband calling and rescheduling a delivery date. He said they could hold them until the following week. We spoke with customer service on May 28th and said we could not pick up appliances until June 1-2. We were told the condition of our appliances could not be guaranteed and we should send everything back and reorder??We said we would do our best to get appliances as soon as we could, we live 4 hours from the Valdosta store but it is the closest to our new home. On June 3rd, Friday, we received another call from Home Depot management at the Valdosta store. We were told that our appliances would/could be sold because they were taking up space on their floor????My husband broke his wrist on May 28th, we are in our sixties but drove 4hrs to Valdosta on Saturday June 4th picked up 5 out of the 6 appliances we ordered with the help of a friend. The last appliance, a refrigerator, we realized was too large for the opening in our new home so we returned it. We will be buying the replacement refrigerator at Lowes and in the future will not take our business to Home Depot! We have been customers for many, many years but no longer! For the money we spent being threatened is not acceptable!!Jerry & Cathy Cole

They need better workers here. I had a woman help me last week who was amazing & sweet. Today I called to get help with placing an order & the woman I spoke with was beyond rude. I'm military and new to Valdosta. I miss pronounced moultrie and she got an attitude about how I pronounced it & on top of that wouldn't let me get a full sentence out. Wish I recalled her name to make a more formal complaint but here we are. Annoyed is g even the word because what is the need for all the attitude when a customer is just trying to inquire about product availability.

The Home Depot Valdosta is by far the rudest group of individuals that I have encountered in this part of the world.. Today was the 3rd visit to the store over the last 3 years each visit reaffirming my belief that they really don't want my business. After the last visit I decided to avoid the store but sometimes they are the only store for 100 miles that has the product I need and today I needed tan polymeric sand.I enter store near masonry supplies but can't find it anywhere. Associate #1 doesn't know where it is so pages someone. 5 minutes later Associate #2 arrives and asks what I am looking for. I told him and he asks why I wasn't looking in the paint department. I said cause polymeric sand in not normally with paint. #2 says "I was talking to him". I go down to paint where there is no polymeric sand then go to the open customer service window. After about 30 seconds of being ignored by the three people huddled around a computer, one finally acknowledged my presence and tried to help. I told them Associate #2 said it was in Paint. She said he probably thought I said polyurethane. They did help me, I got my sand from the garden section then I went to checkout; no open registers. Over to the self-checkout register where it never asks if I am a veteran. I was so pissed by now that I spotted them the $10 just to get out of the store.Maybe they just don't like people with masks, I don't know, but I do know rude when I see it, and the Home Depot Valdosta is the real deal.

My husband and I called on Tuesday, 3/23/2021. After going through the relentless computer automation, sat on hold and sat on hold as no one answered the phone, an hour total of ringing, 30 minutes each time. I drove 30 miles to Home Depot to stand in front of a lady at the counter who did not believe she was an employee and there to maybe help. I went to the computer facing the customers and decided to try it myself. The lady finally spoke and said she had a computer, what did I need. Wow, ok, we are looking for roofing our home, I have the square footage and was told she could not help did not know what roof we needed nor did she know what we needed. I guess I am not of the right mind to believe if you work in a hardware/home store that maybe you should know your job or have someone come help with what you do not know. This woman then went back to now talking to another employee that was standing behind the counter with her.Needless to say we went to Lowes, we actually got waited on and got some help.

Home depot has many good things, but I really will like to get more attention from the employees, is like some of them are there just make the money. I like home depot before than any other, but they have limited space for so much merchandise, I just wish they care more. Other thing is they have cover the hidrant for the fire department and seems like nobody cares, if a fire occur they will waste time removing what is in front. Is a life threat

A slightly mixed bag on which sections of this store will help you hence 3 out of 5 star.Gardening Section: These folks were great and helped me find the things I wanted quickly.Plumbing Section: Had someone help me within seconds of walking into the aisle.Lumber Section: Vacant, its like no one even worked in this section. One employee actually seen me down one aisle wave them down, and they nodded at me and while not really acknowledging me went someplace else?Overall the cashiers are pretty pleasant people.I would not recommend coming here for lumber.
