Had a round price of glass cut for a custom table I was making. Took them way longer than the claimed it would but they were apologetic about it and even gave a small discount off of my glass for their mistake. I'd use them again if I nee dnore glass cut.

My husband went into the business to order glass shelves for a china hutch we bought at a thrift store that had no glass. He talked with a guy named Chuck and gave him the measurements. Chuck told him they would cut the glass 1/8” less in order to have room for the glass to be placed inside of the cabinet. My husband did not know what thickness to ask for. Chuck suggested 3/4”, which is way too thick and too heavy for a 4 foot wide cabinet. My husband went back a week later and picked up the glass. It wouldn’t fit in the cabinet. They had not backed off 1/8” when cutting it. It was also too heavy. We returned the glass and when they measured it sure enough it was the exact measurement my husband gave them. The guy even commented they must not have read his note to back off 1/8” when cutting. I went in that time and told him it was too thick and heavy for a 4 foot cabinet. He said no problem we have to have it recut anyway. I told him my 6 foot cabinet only had 1/4” glass. He also told us we would receive a partial refund since the new glass would be much thinner. Over a week passed and we had not received a phone call that our new glass was ready. We passed by their store on a Friday pulling a 40 foot camper so we could not stop by as there was no where to park the camper. We called and asked if our glass was ready. The lady put us and hold and came back and said yes it was ready. My husband told her we had not received a phone call that it was ready and that we were headed out of town and he would be in the following Monday or Tuesday to pick up the glass. The following Monday my husband received a voicemail from the owner letting my husband know that our glass had been ready and if we didn’t want it he would throw it in the trash. He also said we would not receive a partial refund because the mistake was our fault and not theirs. My husband called him and they had words. We disputed the credit card charge twice and they disputed right back. After the second dispute the credit card company called us and said we needed to settle it ourselves. We chalked it up as an expensive lesson well learned and will never do business with this company again. We went to another company in Valdosta and told them our story. They said they get a lot of customers who had been wronged by the other company. The new company cut our glass perfectly and before we could tell them what thickness we needed they suggested 1/4” based on the width of the cabinet, which is exactly right. The new company was also half the price for cut glass with a beveled front edge.
