If I could give Publix a negative 10 I would. I stood inside the Publix store at the pharmacy and called the their phone to see if they would answer and they wouldn’t. They hardly ever answer the phone which is beyond ridiculous. CVS can get a script and fill it within hours and still answer the phone and they don’t have half the staff that Publix does. My doctor sent my script in at 9am, here it is 7:40pm and it’s still not filled. Horrible customer service.

I am very displeased with the service that I received from here. I had a prescription that required a prior authorization and was given the run around for about 9 days straight. My doctor had initially placed an order for a prescription that I couldn’t use (different formulation) but when I told her it was incorrect, she placed another order for the correct medication. The correct medication required a PA. After she figured that out, she completed the necessary documentation and told me it was approved. I then called the pharmacy and they stated it wasn’t approved and that my doctor had not responded and that I needed to contact her. I called my doctor back and she said yet it again that it was approved for the new medication. I then spoke with a male pharmacist that stated that it was not approved and that they sent out notifications to my doctor but it still was not approved. At this point, I had been back and forth with my doctor and this pharmacy for about 4 days straight. My doctor then spoke with with a male pharmacist that said they couldn’t see an approval on their end but that they would reach out to the Publix Health Desk to resolve the issue. This was never done. I spoke with the pharmacy manager after all of this, who basically told me my doctor was putting in a PA for the wrong medication formulation, but this was not the case. My issue would have been resolved if this was escalated to the proper department (I presume, and even if it wasn’t, it should have been done away). As soon as I switched pharmacies after speaking with the pharmacy manager, my PA for the medication was approved by insurance. The tech that was also there this day was very rude.
As a health care provider and service member this was very disappointing. The miscommunication or rather lack of communication was unacceptable. I made my concerns very clear to each associate that I spoke to but did not get the care that I needed as a patient. Highly disappointed. I would add names but rather not out of respect.

They must be popping the pills they sell or something. But I have a horrible time trying to get my medication every month. Even when my doctor calls and I call to check on it after. Laci is the only tech that actually knows how to do her job.

Staff gets the job done well, despite being very busy all the time. I am happy with the service.

This pharmacy is an absolute JOKE! terrible customer service and lie through their teeth! I’ve given them more than 1 chance and they continue to screw up! I’d rather drive an hour away than use this poor excuse of a pharmacy!!!

Took 3 hours to just get a antibiotic which I received a text for that would cost me after insurance under a dollar... During the 3 hour wait I received a call from the pharmacy stating that they had an issue on their end with the process (not myself or my insurance, but something on the Publix pharmacy end) and due to this the prescription would now cost $32.40 and if I still wanted it filled. So, because your pharmacy messed something up I have to take responsibility for that mistake? How does that make sense? No explanation, just do I want the prescription or not... Excellent service.

The worst pharmacy in Lowndes Co. Wait times of over an hour in line are common, only for them not to have the meds they CALLED YOU to say was ready hours ago. I have lost count with how many times the staff has lied to my face about not having my medication, only for it to be sitting right behind the counter. Going so far as to insist that my Dr is a liar who never sent in the meds (despite already having my order). Using this pharmacy is the #1 easiest way to screw up your medication schedule as they will take DAYS past the time they said it was ready to only fill half of what was ordered. These people should not be involved with the Healthcare industry.

It’s nearly impossible to get in contact with this pharmacy. They never answer the phone and the few times that they have answered the phone when I call, is only because I let the phone ring for 10 mins until they have no choice but to answer it. They are also extremely slow at filling prescriptions. You have to literally stay on top of them and “bug” in order for them to get it done.

I'm reading a lot of negative comments. I just transferred here so far they have been ok. The lady who waited on me was not over friendly but she wasn't rude. Hope my experience continues in a positive way.

Publix pharmacy has the worst, untimely customer service I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They NEVER answer their phone and their excuse is that they are ALWAYS under staffed!!

Service was immaculate! First time using WIC and Jordan along with multiple other workers went above and beyond to help me get the correct products. So beyond grateful for their help! Highly recommend this store!
