Raisin' Cane is a country store in southern Lowndes County right off US Hwy 41. It is a nice place with a friendly, Christian atmosphere, locally owned and operated. The store specializes in Take & Bake Casseroles and prepared meals, which are delicious and a family favorite. It offers a huge variety of Georgia Grown items, from locally produced honey, jams and jelly, and sugar cane syrup to magnificent jams, delicious candies, and blueberry pepper jelly. Customers will find great gifts, rustic home decor, recycled yard art like metal roosters, and flower pots. It is the perfect place to prepare a gift basket with regional items.
Day trip drive with hubby one weekend (July 18). Loved the store! Unique items. Bought several (6) items for gifts. Kelsey was very sweet and friendly AND helpful with my questions. Great concept with prepared dishes to take home and heat and enjoy.

The peaches were delicious. We made a quick stop but definitely will make a longer stop next time.
