I’m not sure if Tammy was the young lady who actually cashed me out or if she was the rude manager that came over to “assist” when the items weren’t ringing up right. I was confused that the Halloween items I bought were not discounted when ALL the signs said they were. The manager walks over and says loudly “it’s Halloween DECOR only”. I looked down and the most expensive item I was concerned with being discounted, a spider lantern hanging light, was $15, I had 2 of them, and she said “it took off $6”. I said isn’t that decor? As she stared me down, I advised her that the sale is for Buy One Get One FREE, then she repeats it took off $6. I had to point out that $6 is not $15, hence my issue. I also had at least 10 more items that were ringing up without the discount, and all she could do was repeat that it took off $6 for one item and $2 for another. I picked about 5 of my items and said to put the rest back since she wasn’t going to honor the price. She had an attitude the whole time, and got mad and laughed at me when I went back to the isle to take pictures of the sale signs. I told her before I left that, just for her knowledge, one sign says “Halloween Decor” and the other one says “Halloween socks, apparel, and sleep ware”. She sarcastically says, “we can’t override prices here” I told her that every other location can, and she said “this location is different. We can’t do it.” I said thank you and walked out. I could hear her mumbling something and then she laughed loudly. I’m offended and will contact customer service. It’s actually against the law to deny selling me the product at the price you have advertised. This lady needs to take a bite of some humble pie, who are you to treat people like this when they are calmly asking you questions as a customer of your business. Also, after I first got there, I heard an employee tell an elderly man (who was frustrated waiting for help), he asked did anybody work here, and someone loudly answered him and said “ yeah, 2 people work here” and they took their time getting over to assist him. RUDE!!!

Left a FedEx package there Saturday. It’s Tuesday and it is still there. Same experience at every dollar general store. They do not care about your FedEx package. I’ve had some 2 day packages sit at stores for 10 days before they get picked up and only then because I have to call a district manager to get them motivated. Not recommending for drop off shipping.

Tammy at the dollar store on East first Street. She deserves an award for her services and she is such a friendly store manager. Dollar General Corporation needs to give her a 2 week all paid vacation all expenses paid on a cruise ? vacation or whatever kind of vacation she wants. ???????✨✨✨✨✨✨✨????⭐⭐⭐⭐??????️⛴️?✈️⛱️?????

I’ve been standing outside for ten minutes already waiting to get a medication to help my family and it’s already 8:10am and they aren’t open. We called knocked on the door and nobody will come to the front. Even big trucks are here waiting to unload. They turned on the store lights but won’t open up

If I could have not given this store a one Star I wouldn't have because this store does NOT deserve a star!! I go in this store at least 3 times a week and I always buy just the general merchandise but being the cost of food going up at grocery stores I decided to try some frozen foods but NEVER again will I do that. I bought some sausage patties and some chicken salad and some fish sticks. When I got home I opened the sausage patties and they had mold on them. I opened the chicken salad and took a small and then I looked at the date and it was out of date then I opened the fish sticks and they were freezer burned. I sent a picture of the molded sausage patties and sent it in a email to the general manager and he replied asking me for my phone number. I never heard from him so that tells me he don't care!! I see a lot of 4 and 5 stars but I have a feeling it is because they have friends or family working at that store.

The manager and assistant manager are rude and wanna accuse someone of stealing when if that's true then why not call the law but instead you wanna talk to another customer about me. Girls, and I say girls..don't profile me unless you can prove I did something in which I haven't !!!
