“We have always made this our stop because of the wonderful experience. In particular this time, we were greeted with a smile and big hello from Natasha. The carpet and chairs have all been updated and refreshed. The food is delicious and the staff are so prompt and helpful. The rooms are fresh smelling and not packed wit deodorizers. The windows open part way for fresh air. Love this place as our stop. Plus great shopping in the area!”

“Was in the area on January 31, 2025 and spent two nights. We were appreciative of the courtesy shown by the lodging team. Lodging was clean and spacious.

“We were very fortunate to have found any room available having evacuated due to hurricane Milton. Fortunately, we were able to make a reservation. Given the previous reviews, the desk clerk was kind enough to show us 2 rooms from which to choose. I'd definitely debunk most of the prior reviews because they are simply not true any more. Decent size room, with 2 queen beds. Nicely decorated. AC in full operation. A window that actually opened for cool, fresh air. No sign of insects of any kind. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Adequate supply of linens. Built in bottles of bath soap & shampoo. New carpet. It appears that the bathroom may need some reno (there was a hole in the back of the door). Housekeeping appears dedicated to fulfilling their duties in a timely manner. Additionally, there is a very large field of grass with a picnic table and barbecue grills. It does have the appearance of having been recently updated. There isn't a closet or a full length mirror. Hey folks: you get what you pay for. If you want a high-end hotel, double the price and move on down the road.
A Burger King with a children's playground is within walking distance.
Walkability: It isn't directly on the busy road, but, there are many places within walking distance.
Noteworthy details: It appears that many improvements have been since some of the previous reviews.”

“Rooms: The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean and you could actually knock the AC down to 65° and it would get there for me who sleeps extremely hot. I was comfortable with just a sheet on my wife on the other hand had my side of the blankets minus the sheet and she brings an extra blanket from home. And the blackout curtains they worked very well.
Walkability: Kroger right across the street left a few other stores literally a stones throw away
Food and drinks: They actually have a bar and their own restaurant $15 all you can eat breakfast. Nice atmosphere for dinner.”
