Houston Healthcare - Warner Robins is a 237-bed acute care facility that offers a wide range of medical services. These include an emergency room, intensive care center, women's center with nine birthing suites, a surgery center, a heart institute, and other specialized departments. Patients appreciate the hospital for its compassionate and thorough care. The emergency room staff is known for being prompt, attentive, and comforting. The medical team takes time to explain procedures and answer questions, helping patients feel informed and at ease. The mobile PET scan service is praised as a convenient option, bringing advanced imaging technology directly to patients. The Pediatric wing is especially commended for its caring and loving medical team that provides exceptional care to young patients. One patient shared a positive experience with shoulder replacement surgery, praising the professionalism and personal treatment from nurses, PCTs, doctors, OT, and PT. They appreciated the nurses who anticipated their needs, helped manage pain, and made the experience more comfortable. Recently, a patient was brought to the hospital after a fall. The staff worked quickly to stabilize them and treated the situation in a timely manner. Another patient went to Houston Healthcare to give birth. They arrived already 7-8cm dilated, facing unbearable pain. A nurse who wasn’t even assigned to them advocated to ensure they received an epidural, going above and beyond. During labor, Amanda provided great support, and the nurses during recovery showed immense compassion and knowledge, especially when complications arose. Nurses like Jocelyn, April, and Analie went out of their way to support and comfort the patient, making a difficult experience much easier. A different patient brought their wife to the ER for a severe headache and abdominal pain. The staff and nurses acted quickly, admitting her promptly. After several scans and labs, the doctor ordered a heart enzyme test, which showed a slight elevation. She was kept overnight for observation. The room was comfortable, and Caitlin, the daytime nurse, was friendly, caring, and patient, ensuring her comfort throughout.
