9/10 times the employees are conversing with each other instead of engaging customers. I've been shopping here over 2 years now and I can't tell you the last time somebody asked me if I found everything I needed or even how I was doing that day. That's seems to be a staple at every other Publix I've ever been to. Not here

I feel like this location and most others I have been to has been clean and well stocked. This time slightly less stocked, but I had no problem finding what I was looking for. The friendly staff, always, says hello or good bye when I am coming or going and they are always willing to help if I am unable to locate an item in the store. I, personally, love our neighborhood Publix!

Great store with friendly staff. Not huge so you can get in and out fast. (Be careful turning left onto hwy 53 exiting the parking lot). Shane McLendon, Jefferson Lions Club.

I’ll drive all the way to Athens to avoid this place now. It’s cramped anyway, but they put those round display baskets all over the place along the aisles which makes it hard to avoid shoppers with no spatial awareness. Stocking in the middle of the day is INSANE. It’s non-stop. Pretty much every aisle has stockers working, with several long carts they leave in the way of shelves. There were two people stocking on the baking aisle, with 4 carts taking up one side of the aisle. Chances are you’re looking pretty close for your specialty baking item, right?! Well good luck with that. Getting around the carts, workers—who by the way have no people skills or kindness. They will stare at you like an absolute awkward creep like you’re a jerk for being in their way!

Narrow isles, crowded location, minimal sales/BOGOs and very little means of ease and egress in and out of the parking lot as it’s surrounded by construction on all sides.

Fine for a grocery store, pretty unimpressive by Publix standards. Very expensive (due to lack of competition), lackluster deli, smaller store with limited merchandise.

This Publix is terrible and only getting worse. The produce section is often understocked and the fruit is usually a day or two from being rotten. Unfortunately, it’s overpriced. Lots of staff walking around without anything to do and often times clogging isles. Not very many people actually helping. Compared to the Kroger up the road it’s really no comparison. I’ve been a longtime publix shopper, but it’s time for a change.

It's 11:35 am on July 4th, 2024. On our way to the Blind Pig for a birthday celebration. Grabbed some bakery cupcakes! ?
Now to get a half gallon of Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream. Oh no, there isn't any on the shelves. Store employee, Cody was working and I asked him if he would check for more stock. He quickly found a half gallon for me. I really appreciate Cody's kindness and how quickly he located exactly what we needed. We made it on time and everyone enjoyed the birthday celebration. Thanks Cody! Shopping was truly a pleasure!! Also, shout out to Burgundy at the front desk for her help, too!

They don't allow their workers to have visible pockets? Such a weird take, management definitely mistreats these employees
