I took my 03 Mercury Grand Marquis LS to this dealership. To try and have my car fixed. I believe they just used a scanner to turn my engine light off. They not fix my car. I believe they just took my car around the back never looked at it. Saying my engine light just off on it's own. But comes back on days after. I don't believe they ever looked at it at all.

Scheduled for an oil change, tire rotation and brake inspection. They did the oil change but the next oil change due sticker had the current mileage listed as my next oil change. They did not rotate the tires and who knows if they looked at the brakes. I never had any issues here before but this time was a failure on their end.

I would give zero stars if that were an option! I bought a vehicle from a local used car dealer, and it had 4 open recalls on it through Ford. The dealer uses the Roberson Ford service department for that type of repair work, and other extended warranty work. I also work part time me for that dealer and have used Roberson for service on my vehicles independently of my affiliation with my employer. The dealer scheduled an appointment to get those recalls addressed and I dropped my Lincoln off to be worked on. I told the service advisor that I also had some noises that I was hearing from the right front at 50 mph on smooth pavement that I would like them to check out also. He said okay.
I am a retired auto shop owner from Michigan, with well over 30 years in the auto repair and service industry. Roberson service advisors know this. I never heard from them during the entire week that my Lincoln was there. They contacted my employer to let them know the recalls were addressed and they said they found the noises , and that it needed $1828.00 worth of repairs. I went to pick up the Lincoln, talked with Matt the service advisor, and left. I was less than a mile from the dealership when I noticed that my full tank of gas now was showing almost empty. I looked at the odometer and the invoice. Those people put 170 miles on my Lincoln! I was livid! When I called back immediately, I was told they would call me back after they “ checked into it”. That was 5:45 on Thursday. I finally had to call them back at 3:30 on Friday as I had not heard from them. Talked to a different person in service who said that they had to test drive it to find these noises. They also left the AWD in the improper setting for regular driving. Supposedly the tech “ had been talked to”. I suggested that they could reimburse me for the fuel they burned off and give me an estimate reflective of their excessive use of my vehicle. He said he would see what he could do. I waited a week and heard nothing from anyone.
I took my personal car in for an oil change figuring I would at least get some forward progress. They screwed that up too, but that’s another review. I provided my $50 receipt for the fuel I purchased and asked about the quote. The bottom line is they gave me $15 in cash and an estimate that the parts were at the wholesale price instead of retail, and full labor. No apology, No contact with the service manager, the owner, or anyone else. Document your mileage, fuel and settings if you go there for service. They are a very poorly run service operation.
