Merritt Pecan is one of Georgia's greatest treasures and a nice little store. It is like a gas station with a convenience store that has a good selection of pecan related treats and fresh pecans sold by variety. It offers a huge selection of Georgia made products, souvenirs, food, drinks, fresh baked goods, and fresh shelled peas. A must try is the brown sugar poundcake, pecan pie, and pecan divinity. Everything purchased is well worth it. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. It is a good stop for a snack or gas when driving by.
