This is a beautiful resort in Snake Creek Gorge that lets you experience an Appalachian environment down in Piedmont (the Appalachian foothills). Their zip line tour is their big attraction, and they also have cabin rentals, treehouse rentals, and a motel. I highly recommend their guided plant tour in the spring.

Fun place to hang out for a few hours. The restaurant part is usually closed and they have snacks and candy plus some ice cream. Recommend bringing some food or going out to eat.
