Hertz is now overcharging people all over the country by adding insurance, roadside assistance and more. Hertz corporation is refusing to refund the charges. Hertz overcharged me $250.99 and this is a very common review on Hertz rental all over the country. Do your research and find a better car rental company.

Add a reservation here for a week and a half, I am a presidents club and golf club member with Hertz drive 45 minutes to this location because I reserved a large SUV for a family vacation only to find out they had nothing available for me, and there was very little care from the employee And empathyI was not the only customer in the location at this time having the same situation of a car was reserved only to show up and nothing be there

Not a good experience. While I car I received was nice, no issues there. Customer service was lacking. I got there when they first opened (this branch shut down half way through my rental time), I clearly interrupted the employees breakfast and she was annoyed the entire time. Hopefully the Athens location is better.

DO NOT COME HERE I DONT RECOMMEND. They charged me the cleaning fee for the standard basic clean of vacuuming and whipping seats

Had a rental set up with my insurance company. Called the next day since Hertz never contacted me to confirm the reservation and was told they didn't contact me because they didn't have any cars available. I asked when they would have one available and they said about a week and a half later (this was over a holiday). I said that was ok and set up the reservation for that date and had to postpone the bodywork that was to be done on our car. Called a few days before I was supposed to pick up to confirm everything was good to go and what time it would be available. I was it would be available probably around noon. They did not tell me I had to pick it up at noon (which I was unable to anyway because of, you know, work). Arrived at about 5pm and was told that since I wasn't there at noon, they gave the car to someone else because they assumed I didn't need it anymore. Was told they even gave me 2 hours to show up.... but didn't bother to call me or anything to see if I still needed it. And of course, they had no other cars available.TL/DR: Horrible customer service and communication. And as Seinfeld said "the reservation is supposed to keep the car there"

It WAS THE HERTZ IN LAWRENCEVILLE NOT WINDER but I got rearended and I had full coverage and the rental was covered by my insurance company and I returned the car on a full tank. I didnt get my $50 deposit back and they charged me $500 on my credit card. I took pictures of the car before I left the rental lot in it and when I returned it. There was no issues what so ever. So they got paid by my insurance company and tried to get me fo pay it too... Thats NOT how you do business.

Over charged me and after I told them I got proof n transactions still no help.. First time and last time renting from hertz I won't recommend it I been hearing a few people getting screws by them

Consistent good service at this location.I recently transferred my service from another hertz location du to incredibly poor quality of vehicle availability and service my the manager.Here, the staff are always prepared and friendlyThe vehicles have been clean and prepared upon my arrivalDef recommend this location!!

We called the day before to set up the rental appointment. Arrived and waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. The office was clean and observant of Covid safety Guidelines. The clerk(I think Cassie) was very courteous and helpful and had my rental ready. Brand new Chevy Traverse.. very clean with all the bells and whistles. I was out and on my way within 15 minutes of arriving. Very happy with our experience.
