I had my vehicle in for service again with Bud Bisciotti as I had a problem with a rough ride in my truck. He recommended BILSTEIN front struts and I agreed! Bud and the mechanics did a wonderful job installing the struts on my vehicle and now she rides so smooth! Bud kept me informed on the status of my vehicle the whole time not to mention provided a fast and friendly experience for installation. Thanks again y’all!!! I fully recommend these guys for any of your service, maintenance, and custom upgrades! I will be adding photos soon!

I brought my Jeep to Akins Collision after being in an accident where another driver took a left turn in front of me. There was a lot of damage to my Jeep and many issues, but each time they were able to troubleshoot and fix anything. Unfortunately, in the end, there was too much damage and my insurance company decided to total my Jeep. Akins took great care of me all along the way. When there were issues with my insurance company, they loaned me one of their vehicles. When it was decided that my Jeep was totaled and my insurance company was low balling me on the settlement price, they put me in touch with Jordan Wooten of Wooten Umpire and Appraisals who got me another $10k over what my insurance company was offering. Tim Murphy and Tim Adels did a great job getting the Jeep back together and were always very helpful. When I needed documentation to fight with my insurance company, Elain Hunt (who is an absolute sweetheart) always provided what I needed as quickly as possible. The people at Akins Collision took much better care of me than my insurance company did. If you are ever in a car accident, take your car to Akins. They will go above and beyond to take care of you and your vehicle.

I brought my Jeep in for an oil change and I have been hearing a whining noise in my transfer case. I dropped it off Tuesday at 11 and was told it would be 48hrs to diagnose. Fast forward to Friday at 1:00. I call only to be told service advisor Vanessa is in training. I ask them to have her call me when she's done. I'm told that will be at 2:00. 2:40 I call again this time Vanessa is on the phone. I'm told she's very busy with her customers. What am I Chopped Liver?? I again agree to have her call me back. 3:10. Still no call from Vanessa. I call again she still can't come to the phone. Again I say have her call me. 4:15 I call again, again they try to put me off. I say no I'll hold for her. Finally Vanessa gets on the phone and tells me my Jeep hadn't been assigned to a tech yet. I'm livid. I ask her POINT BLANK has the oil change been done? She tells me yes it has. I ask to speak to her supervisor. Enter JP stage right. JP tells me he's going to get someone right on it and will call me back. When he calls me back he informs me he got them to do the oil change and then they did the test drive. Wait what ... the oil change was supposedly done. Vanessa lied God I hate being lied to. I mean come on. Then JP tells me they will park it out front for late pick up. SURPRISE they didn't do that either. What a cluster f##$. Oh and a comment was made about it being overdue for oil change. Well I took it in for an oil change 3 months ago and left after 3 hours without oil change. I guess from now on I'll just have to make the drive to go somewhere else. The incompetence was excruciating. Today is Monday December 19 and I am editing my post of two days ago. Yesterday I got in my Jeep and the oil light came on. It is a quart low. What the absolute f¥€%

This was first trip to Akins Ford/Dodge/Chrysler. Amazing facility with a huge lot and service center. Ethan Ward was my Quick Lane Advisor- he was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Dropped my truck off at 8:50 for a 9:00 appointment for brakes, plugs and 90.000 mile service. Done by 12:30 - amazingly quick. And I was given a ride home by a beautiful young lady and the truck was delivered back to me by a fun older fella. Service with a smile and cost less than I expected from the manufacturer's garage. Way to go Akin- you've earned my business I'll be in the market for a new truck in the next year and will surely give you first shot for the sale. Keep up the great service

We had been visiting family and the day we left had battery issues. I found Akins Ford doing a search online. They took care of us right away, got us in and out within an hour. They even let us bring our dog inside. They also provided free coffee, soda, and ice cream.

I drove out to Winder to visit Akins Ford for an estimate on fixing my poor wrecked F150. It looks terrible. I cried and cried! I really need to get it fixed and I want it fixed right. One good thing about the aluminum bodied Ford pick up trucks is that you almost have to take them to a Ford dealer to get body work. It takes specially trained technicians to work these on these aluminum bodies. They have to have special tools and they have to have special training.I've never had any work done at Akins Ford but I've heard lots of good things about them. The people in the office were very nice and very helpful. It only took a minute or so before the estimator came out to meet with me. He was very professional and pretty quick. He told me he would email me the results of his estimate. It is a huge dealership with hundreds of cars and trucks in stock right on thelot. There's a lot to see . They also carry Chrysler and Jeep products. They have a really rad Jeep display in front of the building. They parked three of them climbing some huge boulders and they look pretty cool. I am very happy with the service I have got so far at the Akins Ford collision center. I have complete confidence in them doing my repair for my truck. I would not let just anyone touch it.

Poor communication and lack quality control. That pretty much sums up what you can expect from Akins Collision. Updates on progress were few and far between. AJ is the worst services manager I have ever worked with. No call backs, rarely ever answer's his phone, no updates on progress, slow progress, terrible parts ordering practice, no qaulity control or over site on repair process. Not sure how this guy keeps his job. I will say that Eric and Tim, who are over AJ, where much more helpful in terms of communication. They too failed to follow up on quality control. This took multiple trips on my part to get my vehicle. If you say the vehicle is ready, you should probably actually lay eyes on it and make sure it is. Leaving parts off, and not checking that parts are fully attached is just unexcusable. Take some pride in your work folks! Maybe you all need a check list to follow so you don't miss steps in the processes, or if you have one, try following it. Pro:The paint looks good.Parts seem to be good after fixing some issues.Cons:Communication, or should I say the lack of. AJ as my service manager.Quality control.Paperwork incorrect, has the wrong name on it.Loud and annoying ladies in the attached rental companies area. Sounded like a party in there. Not exactly what your looking for while sitting in the waiting room. Need to take the nasty temporary floor mat out of the car before hand it it over to the customer. Do yourself a favor and find another shop!

Akins Ford put our new brand transmission in wrong when they installed a new engine. Mall of Georgia Ford dealership said Akins put bolts in backwards and missing causing it to break bell housing. It was under warranty but now due to installation error it's not! It cost us $1170 total to be diagnosed at Mall of Georgia Ford. Now Akins wants us to pay $4,600 more for a new transmission. This is completely their fault and they won't take responsibility. They say it's the u-joints, but they were new The starter was also missing a bolt and the coil packs were stripped out from when they put the engine in.

What a joke!! Typical for Akins though. They're going to get your wallet every possible way they can. Called up to order some parts instead of ordering on Ford's website. The pricing came back more than Ford's prices. When I questioned it, the associate laughed and said I wasn't the first person to say something but that yeah, they are more expensive than online. Thanks but no thanks Akins Ford!!
