I’m definitely a little disappointed in this place. I’m currently in a walking boot and needed a lap pool to strengthen my foot and leg and was considering getting a membership here. However, I am not going to buy a membership to a facility I haven’t been to in a long time. I wanted to try it for the day just to see what it was like before spending money and committing to a membership that may or may not be worth it. I have no idea if the membership is worth its value if I can’t at least try the facility out and experience it for a day or two. It doesn’t say this on the web site and when I called they didn’t mention it either. I guess I’ll be making the drive to Lifetime.

Came by for my first visit and my family decided to try the pool. They are extremely strict. That was a little different. My kids wore a life jacket and a life guard was on duty but parents are required to be within “arms reach”. That’s insane. My kids wanted swim noodles and an employee nearly jumped in the pool to take them because “those are her new noodles”. She then pointed at the closet for us to get noodles. At this point I was irritated because why wouldn’t they be allowed to play with the noodles? I’m assuming she noticed my attitude shift and brought over noodles that should have been replaced. One had duct tape wrapped around. I left immediately after. Fun was just ruined. My membership originates at the Athens location and although I think the could use a remodel, I go there before this location.

It's a very nice facility and pool..always clean and reasonable pricing. I'm happy that my kids can use it and it's close to where we live. Thanks for your service

Great place to workout, they have an indoor and outdoor pool, several rooms with group classes throughout the entire day, basketball courts, a child’s center, and much more. Everyone is really nice and the employees are always willing to answer any questions you may have

You never have access to the pool because of some group training, although you pay the same amount of money you dont have the same rights as some members and when you do the lifeguards will ask you to change lanes or something. Mediocre gym, the whole setup is overpriced for what is offered. Avoid it!

I've been a member for many years and have always had a good experience. The strength training equipment and the wellness center floor have recently been replaced. They do alot for the community (scholarships, sponsorship of Shop w/ a Cop at Christmas, BSA charter, Healthy Kids Day, etc). Most of the fitness classes start with a prayer or devotional. All the fitness class instructors have been well versed in their area of expertise and eager to help with participant's form.

I have been trying since January 2022 to get into the YMCA. I have left several messages for Tammy? AndLori. No.. no one has called me back. I've provided all the requested documents. We had Covid in April through May. And I advised them we had it and that I couldn't get in. I'm still awaiting response on a scholarship. Also to see how much it is to join.As I do not have full use of my left hand. I had hand surgery on my right hand and then in June broke my right foot. So I can't drive. I can't just go in. So I keep calling. I call and keep leaving messages. No one calls me back. But they were fast to call me back when we donated a new ping pong table to the YMCA. I'm sorry for having to leave this review. But now due to no call backs my kids again miss the dead lines for signing up for Volleyball. Soccer and Gymnastics. I guess I'll have to wait until October to go in and see what's what and why they don't return calls. And no On one has called me back. This is very sad. Seeing all the bad reviews you'd think they want as one good ones. I guess if there are any it's employees trying to make them look better.

It's ok. I was a member a year ago and had to cancel because I got cancer. Came back after my remission, I come here to use the pool to get my Strength back and I'm Disappointed. My price went up (not worth $60 for one person) the pool is a lways closed or something is always going on. The staff are rude, hope they get their act together or they're going to be losing a lot of people

YMCA is a Christian thevies that can't even provide the kids a medal who pay to play sports at their community site. They will collect your money and say FU in your face. A true believer who believes in GOD, should not treat anyone's worthless. They are GOD of thevies!!!!!!!!!!
