I've trusted Cherokee Tax with my taxes for three years now and they've been very supportive, helpful and responsive every time. When I ask question about my taxes and what to prepare, they are very patient and thorough in walking me through what I need and what is going on.This year was goofy, but my fault, to where their emails they were sending were going to spam. Once we caught it, Kim and Christina went above and beyond to hurry through the process and helped me file on 4/14 in a matter of days. Shout out to those two gals for all they did and pushed through.Thanks guys!

Cannot THANK Mark and his team enough for everything they have done for my family over the last 10 years! I should have written a review many years ago when Mark has saved me over and over on the fact that I can be careless with paperwork and not good at remembering things! Not only has he always done my taxes fast and gotten me the best return that he could, but he always answered my questions and been super professional. This year in particular, he got my taxes done so fast and my return within one week! I have no idea what magic he was able to do for me but it was so helpful! Cannot THANK Mark and his team enough! My mom and I have been doing business with him for 10 years and he has bailed me out so many times for losing things and being careless! He has always been able to get the best tax return that he could get for me as well as been able to get it quickly! His whole team has always been super professional and they sincerely care about their clients! It is wonderful to be able to walk in to an office and be on a first name basis with people that know and want the best for you! Thank you Mark and your team for getting my refund this year so fast! Highly recommend using Cherokee Tax Group. I thought this years taxes would be complicated with all the changes due to COVID but they made it quick, simple, and easy. Very happy, great staff and COVID friendly. I'll be next year!

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR YOUR TAXES. I had a very bad and costly experience here. I took my past 3 years tax returns to another accountant and there are errors from each year and they have to be redone. Take my advice- stay away

We are disappointed with the service we received from Cherokee Tax Group. We went there to have our 2013 Federal return and two state returns for partial year residency in each state. We thought our returns had been filed in March but in June discovered that one of the state returns had not been filed. A message was left for Mark but he never returned that call. Several days later, our refund appeared in our checking account. We never received an explanation for the late filing. At that point, we carefully reviewed the other returns and found two errors on the Federal return that caused us to overpay taxes due. After contacting Mark, we did receive an amended 1040X but the numbers did not match our original return. We received three variations of the 1040X and after several e-mails and phone calls, we finally completed the 1040X ourselves and mailed it November 14, 2014. We received our refund on January 8, 2015.
