Thought it was good for a while after Daniel sold, but then I tried to return a combo of 8 bolts,nuts, and washers within 30 minutes of purchasing them. I had gotten home and realized I got the wrong size, so I went straight back. They would not swap for the smaller size I needed. I will NEVER go there again because of the smug attitude of the young manager/owner about my exchange. I went to the new Woodstock Ace and they were more than willing to swap the ones I had with the smaller ones until they scanned the receipt from this Soni Ace Hardware. They appoligized and said that they dont honor receipts from Soni Ace Hardware so I just bought the ones I needed and they said they will allow returns of this type of item if bought there or any other Ace EXCEPT Soni Ace Hardware. If you buy something at Soni Ace, don't expect to be able to return it to a different Ace because they don't honor returns with a receipt from any Soni Ace Hardware. I will continue to drive further and go to the Woodstock ACE. Update, owners replies with a note on my bad review that "they would swap for the size I needed". I guess he didn't read my complaint fully. THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TRYIMG TO DO WITHIN 30 MINITES OF THE PURCHASE. Just a lie to make other people feel better, of course it is.. Never ever go there.

Just left this establishment where they are charging ridiculous amounts for items one can purchase anywhere. If you respect your money, head elsewhere. Steel wool should not carry a significant $$ amount, supply is abundant. Soni didn’t really have my business, now they have zero chance of earning that opportunity.

Great selection but the employees aren't very helpful. It's not because they don't want to help, but they simply don't have the knowledge and expertise.

Okay so rented the lawn roller again today. The owner was once again nice but as I walked out the door one of the employees tried to not let me pass. Literally tried to bow up in the middle of the store. I don’t have any idea who this was but apparently took offense to the fact I informed the owner the staff was lazy when he wasn’t there.I recommend going elsewhere for anything. I’ve never seen an employee try to fight a customer. I don’t want the guy fired but feel I must inform the BBB and Chamber of Commerce.

The quality and range of products is amazing.When I am unsure of what hardware to purchase for a particular project, they are always available to help. The prices are reasonable and I'm so glad we have this store in our neighborhood!

I went to refill my 20 pound gas grill propane tank and the person said he can't fill a tank over 5 years old. He said I could buy a new one or get a exchange. I was in a hurry so I went to Walmart and exchanged it.It bothered me so I looked up the regulation and it says propane tanks are good for 12 years. A reconditioned one is good for 5, 7 or 12 years depending on the certification process.This was a 10 year old tank that I purchased new. I have had it refilled there since I had the tank and never had a issue with filling it. I called and he said again 5 years which I told him he was exactly incorrect. Then he tried to say it was 5 years for a reconditioned tank which mine was not.I believe he flat out lied so I would buy a new tank, which I didn't. I'm not going back to that store. I found that u haul fills them and their price is better.I do not like being told information that is not correct.

BEWARE!!!! bait and switch rules. Shopped here for years before recent new owners. NO MORE........on initial visit promised that purchase of outdoor grill would include assembly, delivery and free removal of old dead grill. On return to complete purchase as agreed this was confirmed by two people. Rang up the deal and then was told removal of old grill would be $100 extra. AND delivery to my address was more than 5 miles so there would be an extra $50 on top of that. The cashier dude said he did not care what price I had been promised since "I'm the one making the decisions here>" Now the grill itself was almost twice the Home Depot price but with the promised additional service it would make sense. NOT with the bait and switch final deal!!!! Disgraceful new owners have spent heavily to expand the inventory. Just removed the honest customer service I received for years from previous owner. Be warned these folks do not offer the same.

AVOID THIS PLACE, WORST RETURN POLICY EVER. No refunds, even if unused. Don’t let him fool you or attempt to falsely justify it with distribution issues or other lame excuses. Here’s a sign we made, see, “no returns”….deplorable. Keep on cruising down the street to Home Depot for better prices, selection, service and most importantly return policy. A no return policy this day and age, especially for a DYI project store, shame shame. Wreaks of desperation. PASS

The new owner is nice but the staff sits around all day and shows zero interest or care. I had some plexiglass cut here that was ruined by staff twice. I bought sand and all the bags had holes. They load the sand so you don’t know until home.Lawn Roller rental was a travesty as well.

Just had an absolute great experience with the folks over here at Ace Hardware. Customer service was fantastic. They were able to locate the part I needed held it for me for me to drive over and it was less than $10. Great value great experience I wish I lived closer to the store, but it's worth the drive.
