Olde Rope Mill Park is a beautiful outdoor location offering a variety of activities for visitors. The park features nice and clean areas, including a lake with fairly clean, calm water suitable for kayaking and paddle sports. It is a popular spot for outdoor adventures like fishing, hiking, biking, and picnicking. There are mountain bike trails with features built into the courses, and a paved trail that is flat and ideal for walking or kids on scooters. The park also has a playground for children and plenty of picnic tables and benches, many with shade and a creek nearby, making it perfect for relaxing picnics and BBQs. For water enthusiasts, the park provides a boat launch for kayaks and a pier that makes putting into the water convenient. The park's trails are well-marked, and directions to nearby falls are easy to find. Visitors appreciate the scenic river views and the opportunity to hike along the water. Restrooms are generally clean and plentiful, though some reviews noted occasional issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. The park is dog-friendly, offering clean-up bags for pets. While parking can be a bit challenging, with an overflow lot located up a steeper hill, the park remains a great place for a few hours of outdoor fun, especially given its proximity to local attractions and the convenience of amenities like water bottle fill-up stations.
Grwat walking paved trail, well maintained, clean and safe. Excelling single n double track running trails, 2k to 10k+ loops, some without bikes to dodge.

This place is great. They have restrooms that have been clean every time I’ve been to it. Some of the hiking trails aren’t marked very well as to where they go, but it’s pretty no matter where you end up.

The park side is beautiful. The hike to the waterfall however is pretty rough and unsightly. At least 2.5 miles each way and the trail is pretty much unmarked (follow the blue streamers). The falls are nice not breathtaking. Wouldn't do it again.
