I deposited money in the ATM machine. The ATM machine provided a message that said “unable to process your deposit” the machine instructed me to take my card. But it did not return the cash that I put in the machine. Immediately I walked into the bank. Let them know that the machine just ate my money. To no avail I was told that I could take 7 to 10 days for them to figure out what issue is. In this day and time and with all the automation for a bank to have a machine that they have no control over and no checks and balances to take 7 to 10 days is absurd.

I never leave reviews anywhere, and I felt the absolute NEED to leave a review for Tiffany at PNC. Her actions went beyond that of a bank teller today, and not to sound corny, but she was my hero. I had an absolute emergency this morning where I was being actively scammed on the phone and Tiffany was able to sense my distress and could tell I was in trouble. As the scammer pretending to be a court martial/officer was still actively on the phone with me, Tiffany asked me very vague questions to understand that I was not there by my will. She then proceeded to discretely write on a piece of paper to understand what was happening without the man on the phone hearing. Let me tell you- she was like straight out of an action movie. Tiffany was beyond perceptive and helpful, even helping to ensure my account was safe after the call was ended and she got me out of the situation. I wish EVERYONE had a Tiffany in their corner during moments like these. I don't know if all bank employees are training to handle these situations so smoothly, but if they aren't, someone should ABSOLUTELY hire Tiffany to teach that training lesson! Whatever she is paid, it is not enough! As some people say, not all heroes wear capes. Thank you SO MUCH Tiffany!

Im not sure if all the bad reviews that has been left for this bank chainHas ever had a bank account before. They have bank hours bank hoildays. Just like any other bank in the us. Yes they will hold funds even though everything is done by computer and its a instant transfer. Yes this are bad practices. And no bank will admit this. I ve had a bunch of different banks. And whenever i had a bad charge from some business that took to much or identify theft. They have always look into it and gave my money back in my account mostly right after i explain the problem. That day.They do a investigation if it legit after 30 days. And i have never had them take the money bank after when the problem was looked into. Plus i do phone check deposit. Its always in my account the next day and they offer to clear the check immediately for a small fee. So if you need it you get it. Also a signed over check in a different name does though the next day. The 10pm deposit time is great! Plus they give you 24 hrs if you missed manged you account with no fees. What other bank does that. Try boa. Or chase. I could not make a cash deposit of 25 dollars in my moms account any higher try make you do a money order from them for 5 dollars. They are trying to stop money laundering and make you pay extra for them. Chase is a joke no body is going to do that for 25 dollars maybe 9999k! And who ever wrote a 1 star review cuz you waited untill 15 mins to open a account and they said no. They have a family too. There hours are there for a reson your not special. Get your dookie together and if you can't make it alittle soner. That your fault not theres! Would you stay late for someone at your job cuz they couldn't make it in time. 90% of people wouldn't. I left them 4 stars cuz i dont like banks in general so in my book no bank is worth 5 stars. Hope this review puts everyone selfish mind that everything isn't all about you attitude and i hope rating there goes up!

Well so far hadn't had an issue with them. But last few times over gone to have either simple questions answered I kept getting pushed to the next person to handle a SIMPLE question. This last time I gotfrustrated and just gave up and hung up.So unless I need to do a deposit atm I wouldn't preferably come back to this branch. And I've been with PNC for 8 years.

We have been banking with PNC for years. We even stayed with PNC while living out of state where they did not have any PMC branches. Banks offer the same services and are really only separated by their customer service. Today was a chance to shine and stand out. What a failure to do so by the branch manager. I needed a notary. Something g simple, not from any competitors or other financial institutions. If he would have cared to take even a minute of his time to speak with me I think he would have understood why I came to the branch. At the end of the day it would have been in the banks best interest. Without any hesitation he decided they wouldn't help me. I have never been so motivated to close my accounts at a local bank before todays experience. The other two ladies I have worked with previously were fantastic. The manager was anything but.

They do not accept a certified copy of a birth certificate when government offices accept it. Change your policies regarding IDs and I will change my one star to a five star. I even called beforehand to clarify that the IDS that I have would be sufficient. As a result I was late to work for nothing.

Update 2. Kirstin with PNC executive client services has helped me fully resolve my issue with Excellent customer support! I sincerely appreciate Kirstin being true to her word and following up with me first thing this morning.After thoroughly reviewing the Zelle website, I can attest that there are many contradictory statements pertaining to the terms of usage FAQ's. Also, what is the definition of friend? Do online friends count? In addition, "Trust" is an individual perception differing for individuals. I trust any and everyone, until that individual's actions show that they are not trustworthy.Update. Pnc executive client services has reached out to me and Kirsten was very professional and understanding of my concerns. She also provided education on my topic, which I appreciate. I have been told that my problem should have resolution in the next 24 hours. I have changed the star rating from 1 to 3, in good faith and for the follow up call from Kirsten.The customer service at this branch is excellent. However, the PNC corporate customer service is worst in industry. Representatives are telling me 1 thing and the opposite happens. They are NOT TRUE to their word. Management uninterested in helping. This bank is working for profit over people.

Closest branch to me, but opens after I have to be at work (8am) and closes as I get out (5pm). No Saturday hours either. Why? Most inconsiderate branch to the working folks that i've dealt with while banking with PNC. Your experience may differ from mine, and that's great, but to those who share my experience... shame on this location.

Mike I probably the least helpful person there. Every time I come to this bank he constantly gives me a hard time. NO ONE ELSE AT THAT BANK TREATS ME THE WAY HE DOES.

Terrible experience with PNC. Deposited checks to this ATM and the ATM ate one of my checks with out depositing the funds to my account. On top of the that, the ATM rejected my other checks because they had expired. Rejecting my checks cost an extra $12 fee per check for servicing. Called to straighten out the issue, and the manager blamed me for not noticing the expiration date. Really disappointed in their lack of effort to help a customer. Taking my business else where! Avoid this bank.

I have used this bank for MANY years (coming from BOA). The difference is unbelievable. They literally know me here, are SO helpful and I always leave with exactly what I needed done. Not only that, but this bank set up accounts for my teen boys and have helped them not only have accounts but learn how to manage them. When they bring in deposits, this branch congratulates them and encourages them. You'll never get that at BOA. And lastly, my job is Client Experience, so I'm a tough critic. Yes, things are different since Covid. But go inside anytime. They will sit down and help you with anything you need. It just looks different than the old fashioned bank. HIGHLY Recommend!!!
