South Cherokee Baseball is a popular park that offers baseball and softball fields for families. The park provides great service at the food court and has good management. Visitors enjoy a clean and nice experience, with plenty of people working hard to teach kids how to play. The fields are basic red clay and there is only one restroom among many fields. Parking can be tight and the grounds may have standing water. There is no park on the property for siblings to play during practice or games, and walking trails are absent. The concession stand and a few pavilions are available. Despite the crowd, the community remains friendly and the operation runs well.
South Cherokee provides beginning baseball players with fantastic foundations for knowing the game. Our now, 7-year-old, did 4 seasons with South Cherokee (tee ball) and he has such a great understanding of baseball and how to play because of those foundations. The field is more competitive than others around.

Lots of ball fields. It's well maintained. The problem is there's no decent parking.
