“I walked into the store this evening and was greeted by Cheyanne which was a very pleasant experience. I’ve been there before and I was not greeted by the staff. However, this particular time I needed assistance and asked Cheyanne for her opinion on a dress and boots, that I was going to purchase. She immediately came from behind the counter, and asked me what size shoe I wear and began searching the aisles. We decided on a pair of boots and again, asked her thoughts on accessorizing the dress. She continued to ask me questions about the color of sweaters, I prefer and looked until we found something that I liked.
That being said, I will say that this is the best customer service experience I have ever encountered in a retail store. She is the reason that I walked out of the store with nice clothes and boots. Also, there was a gentleman working that evening who asked me if I was being helped while Cheyanne was looking for the pair of boots.
He also displayed exemplary customer service by smiling and being attentive. Thank you both for making this a wonderful experience for me!!!!”
“I donate my best stuff to this store or other independent thrift stores and NOT the Goodwill. I never give GOODWILL (or ILLWILL, as I call it) ANYTHING. There is something sick about the Goodwill. They get everything for free and treat the same people that donate to them like crap when they shop there. They seem to treat their employees poorly as well. I don't think it's a real charity. Feels more like a scam to me. Everything decent goes online instead of allowing those that are local and donate have a chance to buy nicer things in the stores they are supporting. Cherokee, on the other hand, is for real. They are local, and the money really goes to help the little four legged guys.”
“This Goodwill is one of two locations around me within about 7 MI and one of three in my immediate area at all. Hands down this is the cleanest and newest facility that always has the best stuff when it comes to clothing for me out of all the others!”
“Thrift store in an old grocery store building... dusty, dilapitating venue, but you can find decent stuff there. I almost always have a decent time items I want. Tank tops, denim, shoes, fitness gear- it can be hit or miss, but I consistently visit so I see the racks of new stuff roll out and get first pick often enough. My only real complaints are that they sometime staple the price to the item in such a way that it damages the clothing.. it is rarer but it happens.”
