Was looking forward to a leisurely morning and breakfast at WH. Was greeted by Topanga (green-dyed hair and Make America Gay Again accessories…for identifying purposes alone of course). She was pleasant enough; however, we noticed that other patrons who had come in after us were being seated before us. Topanga justified this to herself (overheard by us) by stating that their party was larger…which is obviously a ridiculous rationalization. Also important to note, there were two other parties there before us who were also skipped. So, I respectfully inquired to Topanga if seating larger parties (parties of three) took precedence over a smaller party…she informed us that that was in fact the policy at Waffle House. Then my fellow party member stated, “Really? That’s your policy? So no matter what, if larger parties continue to come in they’ll continue to be seated before us?” Topanga stated “YES”, then changed her story to, “well, I’m new here”, a staunch deviation from this being WF’s policy. At that time, a father and his daughter (who were there before us as well) overheard my inquiry and became rather irate and stared, “Is that why all these people have been seated before us?!”. So, instead of rectifying the situation or saying, “I’m so sorry, I made a mistake, I’m new and still learning”, which we would have had all the grace and patience in the world for that sort of response, instead Topanga stated, “I’m going on a break and walked off”. Topanga is either another product of the softest most coddled generation in history (and no, I’m not a boomer, just a hungry young man lol), or just extremely poorly trained, either way our experience was enough to motivate me to write this small novel. If ya stay quiet regarding poor behavior and coddling fragility of character, nothing gets fixed, right? So, obviously we thanked them and went to the WF down the road and had a lovely experience (Hailey at WF on 92 was great). Waffle House, if this in fact your policy, then it should be reviewed/amended immediately.

First of all if you don't know, waffle house just is what it is. You don't go to waffle house for the food, that's incidental to the experience. But that experience isn't always the same and our experience here is always outstanding. It's barely off the highway at all, if you're passing by on 575. And it'll feel like a short walk from downtown Woodstock if you're drunk ?Kid-friendliness: Great place to take kids during the day but be aware it's a popular destination for folks leaving the bar and while usually friendly that crowd may be a bit coarse with their language and such

It is what it is, they offer a low cost breakfast that’s basic, good portions but not all that healthy. They cater to a working class clientele and stay pretty busy.

Some of our party really enjoyed their breakfasts, but my waffle was raw in the middle and not worth eating. My mom's grilled cheese was cooked on the outside, but the cheese wasn't even melted. I've definitely had better experiences here, but this time it was pretty bad.

Never again! Called ahead for my order, still not accurate. Had to wait additional 20 minutes. By that time , call in food was cold. No help from manager, no discount offered, NOTHING! 1ST AND LAST VISIT.

I've never considered Waffle House to be "pretty" but while parked to make a call after renewing my tags next door, they turned on the lights just before i snapped the pic and the contrast was impactful! I didn't dine here today but I've been to this location several times before. So going on past experience (my first being around 2012 when Maggie Riddling hooked me up with the best WH breakfast ever) I've consistently experienced extraordinary service, tasty food that's cooked-to-order & fresh, immediate seating, clean restrooms and a full belly before leaving! It really doesn't get much better than that! I recommend the bacon egg and cheese on raisin toast, hash browns scattered & crispy, double smothered (with double onions) & double covered (with double cheese)! A blueberry waffle with honey (pumpkin waffle is really good too). Pork chops are juice and tender when fresh or as left-overs (same day) but not after that. Now I'm hungry!

Angela was absolutely lovely! It was my birthday, and she took such good care of me. I look forward to going to this Waffle House to see Angela and friends on that shift. She brightens my Thursday nights!!
