“Reuse...recycle...reality As we all go through phases so does some of our items and as much as I don't want to part with any of them it does make room for a much more calmer space. Here at Goodwill I know it will go to good and though I'm not fully aware of the exact process but it will go to a good home versus the trash. The power to reuse item does help support the community in so many ways places like these are resources for some that I've known in the past. It's amazing the amount of items I do find here not just clothing, bags, sporting goods and CD's but a walker for someone in need or a chair just to sit on you never how the level of appreciation a single item can bring and I appreciate the care it shows here. Thank you!”
“Very helpful. Looking to apply for LIHEAP again in October! It's only August, and I need help now though. Since my Husband passed away last year, and my Brother who was resuscitated 2 x in May from a freak accident at his gym, he needed emergency surgery to remove his spleen and blood transfusions. He should've just had his hip replacement by now and be working. We are both disabled and we've had a major setback plus our rent has been raised!I just need help until October! Please and Thank you. With much Aloha.Sister and Brother in Pearl City”
“I was on the island for work and figured I'd stop to see if I could find souvenirs for my large family on a budget. I found some great shirts for my wife and boys and a lovely hat and cloth zipper wallet thing for the girls. I even found a great shirt from a local surf shop for me. After I left I noticed one of the shirts had a small hole and the print screen was peeling off but that is just as much my fault for not being more careful and noticing before I purchased.
Oh, and the cashier was friendly and was sure to catch that one of the shirts was marked as half off. Goodwill is always hit and miss but I was able to find what I was looking for.”
