Super disappointing experience. I brought in my 2021 ASUS ROG G15 Strix Advantage because it kept shutting off randomly. At first, I thought it might be overheating, so I took it to Geek Squad to get it checked out. They ran a quick stress test and told me the GPU was failing and no real explanation, no in-depth diagnostic, just that. But when I got home and actually looked into it myself using Windows Event Viewer, I saw the real problem was related to Kernel-Power so basically, the system was getting hit with a power surge and shutting down to protect itself. Nothing to do with the GPU. And what did they do during the “diagnosis”? They installed this junk software called Driver Booster 12, which didn’t fix anything and just made the system run worse. It felt like a lazy guess and they almost had us paying for a repair that wasn’t even needed. Honestly, if you have a serious issue, you’re better off going to a place that actually does full diagnostics and understands the hardware and not just runs a stress test and gives a surface-level answer.

Dropped off my PC because it wasn’t turning on. They held my PC for 8 days until they called me to tell me the problem. We fixed the issue and I purchased the part that needed to be replaced. I picked up my PC and everything seemed to be perfect until I got home and it still wouldn’t turn on. So then I had to drive all the way back to Best Buy, wait in line, then finally got to work with the same guy who helped me previously. We got it working and again I thought all was fine. Then I get home and my PC can turn on but now my HDMI ports aren’t sending a signal to my monitors. The monitors and cables work fine on other devices. So now after dropping it off and waiting 8-10 days and about $200 I have to go back for the 3rd time in 24 hours and have them “fix” it again. I was better off just not dropping it off in the first place, at least then I’d still have my money

Terrible service. Took them over 4 months to fix my dryer. Each time they came out to fix, they had internal issues-technician did not know how to fix, did not have the right tool, did not have the right part, finally made the decision to replace. Being the dryer was located in a vacation rental, I had to rent a dryer for my guests. The rental costs were $759.11. They refused to cover this cost for me. Their Executive Resolution Specilist Katy was not very responsive too. I had to keep calling her, leaving voice mails and emails- completely ignored me. She does not understand the meaning of good customer service. Now my only recourse is to take them to Small Claims Court. I told them I would do this and they don't care. Too bad when they get so big customer care does not exist.

Best Buy's Total Tech, which includes their Geek Squad, is the "best buy" on the planet. Tech is evolving at such a fast pace that I can no longer keep up. But when I am hopelessly mired in the "newest and most confusing," the Geek Squad people talk me down off the ledge. I'm forever grateful!

I almost never leave reviews, but I literally had one of the best customer service experiences ever. Shout out to Austin (I believe that was his name). He was soooooo patient with me and very thorough when explaining all the pros and cons there were for each different type of laptops and brands I was interested in and I could tell that he genuinely cared that I got the best quality and best price. I can be very indecisive at times when there's too many factors to consider, but he was very very patient and understanding. So Austin, if you're seeing this, thank you sooooooo much!!!

Even after calling and speaking with a live person that said they can fix it here, they do not carry parts on island for internal cooling fans for computers. Waste of time to go in person with an appointment to find this out.

Review over due, but wanted to give Brandon from customer service/geek squad a shout out.Very friendly and authentic. Unlike the Honolulu store, who lied that his apple guy got in to a car accident or whatever lie he wanted to come up with to get rid of me.Brandon took the time to hear me out and also showed empathy. Good help is hard to find and Brandon went above and beyond to help me. Even though he was not able to repair my iPhone, I do appreciate his efforts to assist me. He also was able to help me with my gaming mic and made it a smooth transaction . BEST BUY AIEA please recognize Brandon for me and appreciate him for his great service.Much mahalo Brandon!

I randomly came across Best Buy in a search for card audio/speaker installation. I bought bass speakers, 6"X9"'s, amp, and door speakers. I looked at MANY places to get all of that installed with high prices and no guarantees because I bought my own audio. I'm SO glad I chose Best Buy to do my installation!!! They did an amazing job! I don't have any after pictures because they HID EVERYTHING PERFECTLY!!! They also guarantee their work for LIFE! GREAT SERVICE and PRICES! Have any car audio needs? Go here!!! Trust me.

I have only had great experiences here at Best Buy in Aiea. Today we were helped by Ben and he was amazing! Didn't even have to open up his phone to tell us about the options we had. That was totally a first. He knew details about each device and readily answered our questions. What a phenomenal salesperson! I would suggest looking for Ben if you go to this store. He also doesn't push you in purchasing any type of brand, but eagerly answers all of the questions you have, no matter how small or big.He was also very friendly, willing to help look for stock items in the back and even brought back an item we weren't even looking for as another option if we wanted it.Definitely will continue to go to best buy for our needs.

yup, don't waste your time, I wasted a whole hour, after wasting time making an appointment and driving down there. Iphone battery shot, they of course don't have the battery in stock. Or they are just incompetent ... She told me I could upgrade my phone... Avoid best buy and find an apple store. Would have been better if they just could have told me they didn't have a battery in stock over the phone ... Apple was a dollar cheaper and did it with no appointment.
