If you are looking for a clean, safe and healthy environment DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU into moving here. Infested with bugs, management takes months to get back to you, they discriminate against section 8 holders as well as disabled people.I am a tenant here and looking for somewhere else to live after a year of HELL.BEWARE!

Staff is helpful and usually the people. I paid $30 to check in at 1030 vice the regular time of 1400. The front office had a maid show use where our room was. The stay comes with 1 parking stall. The room has a patio entrance (1st floor) that has screened windows that you can open and close. You need a key to get into the patio. It also doubles as a smoking area. From there is keyed locking glass door into the unit. The unit is basically a 2 bedroom apartment. It has a full size stove, microwave, fridge, kitchen sink. The sink has utensils, cooking utensils, tableware, and some cookware. The appliances and fixtures are better than average. Each room has ceiling fans and air con. The a/c units are a little loud. It was cool enough, so we were able to sleep with the off and just use the ceiling fans. Bathroom is p/soft pretty clean and up kept. I was worried because the bedrooms were facing the bike path. But there wasn't too much noise at night. Only during the day there people riding mopeds or motorcycles. Each room has 42" TVs with basic cable. There is wireless internet. The negatives I experienced was 1. as I said earlier the a/c units are kind of loud, 2. there is no paper/soft goods. Bring your own paper towels, tissue paper, shampoo, things to was dishes.

They kicked my family out of the hotel before our reservation had ended due to a mistake on their part. In response, I posted a review and filed a complaint with the BBB (the review below contains a more in-depth explanation of the issue). Nearly one year after I posted the review, they reply back calling us names in a public forum--their response is included below my review. Here is my review that includes my reaction to their response. I will post their review below it. DO NOT STAY HERE! This is a long post, so I will summarize our issue: They kicked my wife and kids out of the hotel before the end of our reservation. UPDATE: More than one year after posting the review, Harbor Arms replied to my one star review. In their response, they resorted to name calling ("They were not the model military family, just a bunch of "Karens" all of them"). Harbor Arms never had an issue with us while we were staying with them. We were kicked out of the hotel before the end of our reservation due to a mistake on their part and the review reflects that. If they do not like receiving bad reviews, then Harbor Arms should strive for better customer satisfaction. Their post is reflective of how they view their customers. I will repeat what was stated at the beginning of this post--DO NOT STAY HERE! I reserved this hotel for my wife and children as part of a military Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move. Harbor Arms Apartment Hotel is an authorized participant in the Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) program. TLA allows service members and their families that are in the PCS process to stay at approved TLA hotels and receive reimbursement. This hotel was reserved beginning 12 June through 14 July but we ended up only needing the hotel through 5 July. My wife informed Harbor Arms that she would be checking out of the hotel on 5 July but would still make the 10 day payment on 4 July. TLA requires a participant to pay the hotel every 10 days and submit that receipt to the local TLA office for reimbursement. July 4th was the 10th day and my wife needed to pay the 10 day amount. When she went to do so, she was informed by hotel staff that her reservation was no longer valid and the room was taken. She explained to them that she still needed the hotel but was there simply at the 10 day requirement and not there to check out. The staff told her there was no vacancy and she could not extend the reservation, a reservation that originally went through the 14th. Each employee she talked to informed her that she was wrong and her reservation was expired. One employee yelled at my wife to inform her she was wrong. No matter how my wife explained that she was there only to pay the 10 day amount, not to leave the hotel, the employees were rude, yelled, and kicked my wife and the kids out of the hotel, despite the fact that our reservation was still valid and she and the kids had nowhere to go. My wife had to scramble to find a hotel with vacancies because Harbor Arms refused to allow them to stay one more day without any additional explanation other than that they couldn't extend the reservation--remember, the original reservation went through the 14th but was shortened to the 5th; this was on the 4th. The icing on the cake is that Harbor Arms kicked a military family out of its hotel on Independence Day. Here is the Harbor Arms Response one year later: A mistake was made, a letter of apology was sent. Edit: Husband wasn't even present during this stay, only the wife "who was doing all the yelling" let's call her Karen and her mom. They also had five kids that the Grandmother had the responsibility of watching because Karen stayed in the room watching TV most of the time and Nana stayed in the pool. The kids would run up and down the hotel first and second floor with their wet swim clothes and play in the elevator while grandma slept on the lounge chair, I think these kids wore her out. They would push and bang their stroller against the railings and play like kids do, but unattended. This family was a liabili

I lived here for 3 months and I really enjoyed my stay. The only issue I had was the maid service was a bit intrusive. Even if I put the do no disturb sign up, they would still enter my room. I found this out when my friend told me the had been awakened buy someone entering the room. The next day, I get a call from the desk asking for more money. Apparently they charge per person, which was an additional 25 dollars a day. This was odd because I already had a two bedroom unit.Aside from that, the location is great. It's near everything you could want Longs Drugstore, Safeway, Times Market, tons of restaurants from indigenous to Italian, a theater (in the mall) and yeah a mall, two gas stations, a Mc Donald's, Anne Millers (great for breakfast) Monterey Bay (great for dinner), a gym and my absolute favorite AIEA BOWL!!!' You can bowl and eat garlic chicken or shrimp or both and have a slice or three of strawberry crunch cake. Oh and there is a post office, Hughley's soul food, a pizza spot with huge p and bbq spot called Dixie Grill (that does not disappoint) close by as well. Great location !

We used this establishment while doing a solar job in HI and they were more than accommodating to our crew members. If we have more jobs in this area, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything! :) -****

There is many bugs in the apartments and I don't like the color scheme. At least it has a pool and an elevator.
