It was great, the rooms smell amazing, and the bedsheets are warm. The shower was good, and there was privacy. My window view looked amazing, no bridge in sight. Harbor Shores hotel, you guys are amazing

I had a great experience with Harbor Shores during our stay. We had a full kitchen, nice pool for the kids to play in and access to a laundromat. For a military move, this was a great option for me and a family of 5! Kids got to play during the day and had their own room. Would highly recommend to anyone pcs'ing.

SO MANY CATS, and some cockroaches too, but don't worry they're not the flying kind

This place is a hidden gem for sure! Perfect for military TDY here on an extended stay. It may not be in DTS as an option (just book outside of DTS), and they offer the TLA rate ( perfect)! It’s so conveniently located to everything and pretty much away from downtown Waikiki traffic. All bases/posts are located within 10-15 min. Pearlridge mall is across the street to include Starbucks for you coffee drinkers. Lots of eating places within walking distance! OhMy Grill is a 5 min walk and has local food amongst other places in the strip mall/store just down the street from the Apts. Annie Millers Restaurant is across the street as well that had very good food to accommodate your interests!
It’s a quiet spot with a walking trail behind the apartments and the water just a walks throw away. Rooms are upgraded from the last time I stayed here! Very clean and comfy! AC blows cold in living room and bedrooms! On-site Manager and Apt Manager John is Amazing! Very helpful and friendly. You can always get a hold of them if you need anything! Cleaning service is on it! Never had to ask for anything, always replaced my towels and serviced the room.
I will stay here again without hesitation! I look forward to my next TDY and this time Im going to bring my family out with a little vacay at the end!

Harbor Shores is a hidden gem, The management (John and Jack) were very helpful and accommodating the entire time we were there. The rooms were comfortable, and the internet was crazy fast. very convenient location to ford island, made commuting to work in the morning and back home in the afternoon/evening a breeze.
Thanks john, I'll be back!

We have been here for 5 days and have been very comfortable. Booked here because it was TLA approved, had 2 bedrooms and a living area and approved pets. We have 3 kids and a dog so we wanted to be comfortable and not squeezed into a tight hotel room. Our room is very spacious with plenty of storage room if you are staying long term; which we thought we would be while waiting for post housing. I do wish they had a broom or small vacuum in the room so we could tidy up during the day when we didn’t want to let in house keeping since our dog is in the room but for the most part they have everything to be pretty comfortable.

Good budget-conscious hotel! A lot of the reviews mention military connections but you don’t have to be affiliated with the military to stay here.
Clean and safe, easy access to all parts of the island. Not a luxury vacation accommodation by any means, but all the furniture and appliances were in working order, if a bit dated.
Dish soap, sponge, paper towel, salt/pepper were not included, with a full kitchen those seem like basic amenities but I asked for soap at the desk and they were accommodating.
Great option to avoid high-priced Waikiki with crazy parking and resort fees.

We had another amazing stay at Harbor Shores Apartment Hotel! We first stayed there a year ago when we were PCSing from HI to the mainland. This place has everything you need with a kitchen, full stove/oven, microwave, comfortable living room, two bed rooms, ACs in all the rooms, desk work area and an awesome bathroom with good water pressure. They even allowed our cats and were super accommodating to us as we were PCSing. A year later, we returned for a visit in September 2024. We had another amazing stay with the same amenities. The area is quiet and you are close to everything. It is also very affordable. I highly recommend Harbor Shores if you are visiting O'ahu, especially if you are military on either official travel or leisure travel (like we were this time around). Thank you so much, Harbor Shores! We hope to be back in the future!
P.S. ~ They also provided us with dish detergent and sponge (you just ask at the desk)! Also, the inside may seem to be outdated but everything is well maintained and super clean. They do a great job of maintaining the rooms so that they are very clean.

I really liked staying here. They're accommodating when you have multiple animals asks having a kitchen helps things. Staff was always nice and courtesy to me.

I feel really bad for giving this bad rating, because John was really nice. But this place is just so badly maintained. The cleaning is good, but the equipment and facilities are so old and used, that they are pretty rotten. We did not feel comfortable, rather disgusted and nor did anything seem hygienic. After one night, the toilet, which was broken overflowed all our things that unfortunately were still in the suitcases and backpacks on the ground, swimming in toilet water. We spend the next day doing the laundry and cleaning all our things. We were offered a new apartment, but we did not want to stay there any longer. Also there was no dish liquid, sponge, salt, pepper nor paper towels in the kitchen, which we had in all our other apartments, so we ended up buying and not needing in the new apartment. Which, by the way was not any more expensive than this one and much nicer, even the location. I don't think this is good value for the price.

Outstanding hotel for military TDY, PCS or people on extended stays. Convenient location. Less than 15 minutes to JBPHH, Ford Island, Camp Smith, Tripler and Fort Shafter. Friendly and responsive staff. Recently upgraded rooms with a full kitchen, appliances and cookware. One free parking spot included and street parking available. Laundry room. Pet friendly! Say hello to the cats.
Rooms: Rooms have been recently updated. Full size stove with oven, large refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. Large dining room table. Separate bedrooms with locking doors.
Nearby activities: Two nearby shopping centers with restaurants, food trucks and several independent establishments. Near Aloha Stadium and swap meet.
Walkability: Pearlridge Center is 2 blocks away. Easy access to bus and rail stops.

I spent about 2 weeks here for work/business, and was debating a rating. Finally, I gave them 5 stars. For the price, which is significantly cheaper than most other hotels (especially in Waikiki), it is a good value. Just don't expect any luxury amenities. But for families and work groups that need a discounted place to stay, especially for very long trips, this place is good. Pretty clean and with a good, central location (away from traffic and close to shops and restaurants, and close to the Joint Base Pearl Harbor), if you're not looking for a luxury getaway, it is good. You get a kitchen and sleeping for up to 4 in each room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's even washers and dryers onsite.

On Pearl Harbor bike path. Can bring your pets. Plus very nice swimming pool. Location used to film Magnum P.I. and others. Recent upgrades.
