  We bought our 2006 RAV4 from KD Auto Sales and the whole experience was honestly so smooth. They didn’t try to highball us or push anything we didn’t need. Mike asked what we were looking for and actually found us a cheaper option that fit our family better than the one we originally came in for. The buying process was quick we were in and out in about 30 minutes.
  
  Months later we had to come back for registration/title work, and they still took care of us with no issues. Something we were told might take 6–8 weeks was done in just a few days. Great customer service all around. Definitely recommend KD Auto Sales.

  Five months ago I bought a truck from KD Auto Sales. I am very pleased with my purchase. But mostly, I want to thank Dave Mule for going out if his way to get to me as much information on the truck I had my eye on. Yes it's a used truck. I only had to make one very small repair to get it to operate like I wanted it. I'm sure he made couple k on it, but hey, it's gonna last me a long time. It runs like new. Mahalo Dave! Gaby

  The car diversity was on point found want open for negotiation and came in and out all employees have a bright smile and want what's best for you they don't sell cars usually under $10,000 must come I got my first ever car here at 19 years old

  Bought a van from Mike at the end of June beginning of July and he was a pleasure to work with. There was an issue with the left front CV axle that he agreed to have fixed before we purchased it. He had the cv axle replaced and the van has had no issues since. Great deal no hassling, highly recommend

  I was a little skeptical about buying from these guys at first, but this proved to be one of the best and easiest car-buying experiences I’ve had yet.
  I originally found Mike and Dave through Craigslist (hence the skepticism) and went to look at a mini cooper. I knew it was kind of a beater, but the car met my needs and I could afford to purchase outright instead of taking out a payment.
  It was a little confusing to find their business as they are operating out of the parking garage of a medical facility, but Mike gave good directions, was friendly, and met me at the spot. He was more than helpful and let me take the car on a lengthy test run. There were several issues with the car and the engine light was on, but after a quick diagnostic test at Autozone, I decided these issues were all things I could take care of over time.
  Upon returning, I expressed my concerns about the work the mini would need to Mike. He heard me out, and mentioned that Dave had already ordered parts to fix some of my concerns, and offered to still install the parts at no additional cost.
  Mike could see that I was still hesitant and simply asked “what can I do to earn your business today?” No pushing. No sales pitch. Just an honest question. I answered that, while the car was within my budget, I was worried about the money I would have to spend to get the car running smoothly. Mike worked with me and we reached a reasonable price that allowed me to stay within budget and still get the car checked out by a full mechanic. Long story short, I had to spend about $700 on an O2 sensor and other minor fixes (I went to Premier Automotive on Wailae Ave and would HIGHLY recommend them), but the car was up and running and well within budget.
  The following weeks, I had to revisit Mike and Dave for them to install the various parts they had ordered. They were easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating, even arranging for me to borrow another car from their inventory (which drove beautifully for having 200,000 miles) while they were fixing up the mini.
  Two months after my purchase, the mini is now running beautifully and has been dubbed Sir Paul Mc-CAR-tney. Sir Paul has become the preferred ride among friends and family for quick trips to the beach.
  I am eternally grateful to Mike and Dave for helping me find a car that fit my needs and budget. I will absolutely keep them in mind should I or my friends need a car in the future.

  Wouldn't trust these guys, if you ask too many questions or for any guarantees they will ask you to buy a car somewhere else.
  
  Not going to say they are outright scammers but it's obvious they don't trust the cars they are selling will last very long either.
  
  It seems like there are other people that had a good experience with KD Auto, so it would be unfair to assume they treat everyone this way.
  
  5 out of 10 to be fair as we didn't buy anything.
  
  1 out of 10 for dodging questions and asking me to shop elsewhere.
  
  3 out of 10 for telling me you have mechanics that can fix problems but don't offer any warranties.
  
  1 out of 10 for trying to upsell a service for a problem that shouldn't come up in the first place.

  If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Dealing with Mike at KD Auto Sales has been an absolute nightmare. This so-called "salesman" is nothing more than a manipulative con artist. He knowingly sells broken-down, unsafe vehicles and has the nerve to act like he's doing you a favor. Don't be fooled by his fake smile and phony compassion.
  
  We made it clear to Mike that we were giving him all the money we had (which was not a lot), trusting him to sell us a reliable vehicle. He assured us that he wanted to help and had a few vehicles in our price range. We asked about a vehicle he had advertised online at our price point. He stated that it had sold moments before we walked in and that he wouldn’t have sold that vehicle to us because of its questionable condition. Instead, the car he sold us barely ran for a day before breaking down. We were left stranded on the side of the freeway and were forced to spend even more to have the vehicle towed and stored. He even had the audacity to accuse us of driving the car while it was overheating, despite not being there and having no evidence. The reality is, we pulled over as soon as the car showed any signs of overheating.
  
  Mike continued to pretend to care and ‘loaned’ us yet another broken down piece of junk claiming it was a much better vehicle. This one broke down in under 15 minutes and put us in an even more dangerous driving situation. Mike did not give up. He continued his act by offering a third vehicle. This one ran but had several safety issues including doors that didn’t work. He quickly tried to convince us to purchase this vehicle at a much higher price than the original (remember that was all of the money we had). He knew we couldn’t afford it but insisted he was giving us a great deal. This time we did what we should have done to begin with and had the vehicle thoroughly inspected at which time we were advised NOT to purchase it at any price as it had countless unsafe, expensive issues.
  
  When we confronted Mike about it, he turned mean and threatening, trying to bully us and insisting this wasn’t true. He turned into a completely different person who clearly had no compassion or concern for us. It's clear he has no regard for the safety and well-being of his customers, only his own pocket. We tried legal mediation, but Mike would not budge only offering to return a small portion of the money we paid to him. Ultimately, we decided not to take it to a judge as the stress was affecting our health and well being. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to end up with a dangerous lemon, empty pockets, and agony. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere reputable.

  We Purchased A Nissan Altima Few Months Ago. We Hardly Drive The Vehicle Due To Mechanical Issues. Not Even 2k Miles And Car Starts To Shake Vibration From Engine, Steering Started Jerking On Turns, AC Started To Smell Like Mold After They Said They Installed New AC. Filter Had Mold, Now Airbag Light Came On And Most Recent Tire Lights Came On Saying It's Low But Tires Have Air. Scanned Car And Codes Of All Sorts Came Up. Weird Because We Hardly Drive Car. Belief After Talking To Mechanics That All Codes Was Cleared Before Sale. After Running Car For A Couple Months Here And There All Faults Started To Show. Not To Mention Putting $2,500 Down For This Lemon. So Much Safety Concerns About This Vehicle. All Just To Make Money Not To Unsure The Safety Of Customers Purchasing Vehicle.

  My wife and I purchased a car last week from Mike at KD Auto sales. The experience was the best we've ever had buying a car. The price was as stated, out the door! Mike was very professional, very friendly and just an all around nice guy! We were in and out in under 2 hours with a car that met all our expectations that we were looking for. I would highly recommend checking out KD Auto Sales for your next used vehicle!

  Kd autoBUYER BEWARE!This was my first car purchase I bought a 2015 jetta in November 2022. At first I was very happy with the purchase, the only problem was the broken moonroof (kd auto said they would fix when the part came in). However, during the first month of driving, the car started smoking constantly. When I brought it into service, my mechanic had found a leak in the coolant and the right back wheel baring was broken, none of these issues were made aware before I bought the car. Due to these issues I wanted to return the car but was unable to. I decided to trade in the car at other dealerships and while doing so a salesmen pointed out that the the drivers side door was previously worked on and covered with a bad paint job (Kd auto claimed this was a 1 owner clean title vehicle). When I asked kd auto the owner told me that they do not mechanically check their vehicles. I ended up having to trade in the vehicle at a huge loss. This was a huge financial set back that could have been avoided. If you do choose to check out their vehicles just be sure to check the cars extra carefully. Especially since kd auto doesn’t mechanically check their vehicles before selling them.

  The cars here are cheap for a reason. Unless your looking for a project car and willing to spend money on numerous repairs I do not recommend buying a car from here.

  Talk to MIKE!! This place goes above and beyond! I would recommend this place to everyone!
  
  I have never bought a car in the States and car rules differ in each state. Mike was the person who explained what to look for when buying a used car. He did not take advantage of the fact that I did not know anything. (Which I think some others did try when I looked around at other places) He told me important things to look and look out for even if I was not buying from him.
  With this knowledge, I did look around a little more but I could not find any place better than KDAuto. I am grateful to Mike because of his advice I was not taken advantage of at other places who tried to sell me a car.
  First, the PRICES cannot compare with other dealerships. Second, the way they are taking CARE of the car for me is exceptional. (I will have it checked later on but I really think there is NOTHING wrong with the car. For every car I showed interest in, Mike did explain if there were any issues with the cars.) Oh, and they are helping me with the trunk button, which they did not have to do. But from the goodness of their heart, they are doing this HUGE favor for me!
  
  I did go to look at a car for 2900, however, I did end up buying something more expensive. This was not because Mike led me toward a more expensive one, but because he let me test-drive all the cars that I wanted. He let me test drive many cars until I got the feeling of "this was the car" and got the feeling of being SAFE. He was not annoyed and explained every car in depth each time I had questions. I did not get my title yet, but he will give it to me next week or the week after. I trust Mike at his word that is how much I TRUST this place.
  I am writing from my experience at KDAuto and I hope everyone will have a similar experience as me! Thank you so much for helping to find the perfect car for me and even caring about the trunk button I am really grateful!! This place goes above and beyond! BEST customer service ever!!!
