Visitors can enjoy watching monk seals that often haul up on the beach, but are advised to stay behind warning signs to avoid disturbing them. The area offers good snorkeling opportunities near a small reef, with two parking options—one near the restrooms and another on the airfield side. Lifeguards are on duty, ensuring a safe experience. Overall, it’s a peaceful spot to relax, observe wildlife, and enjoy the natural beauty of the coast.
Van camped. Impressed by regular maintenance of facilities. Cold showers, dish washing station, bathroom. Nice and quiet.

There was a small but pretty reef on the left side, close to the salt pond. There were a lot of warning signs though, so it felt like I would die. Spoiler - I didn't.

Monk seals haul up often, stay back behind the signs. Two parking areas one by the rest rooms. Other is on the airfield side and a bit quieter.
