My sister lives in the area so this is our go to spot for poke whenever I come visit. It's inexpensive, fresh, and they have lots of variety. On this most recent trip, I discovered the raw marinated crab and Filipino spaghetti. Both were great and I wish I found out about it sooner. Though the crab is a bit salty (as expected) but nothing a little rice can't fix!

Definitely not my usual Foodland...I'd remember going to this location in Ewa every time I'm visiting my bestie and though not usually a Foodland shopper in general before they had Safeway down the street whenever I needed an item this is always the place to go.The staff here has always been friendly with a smile and willing to help or answer any questions I may have this visit I was with my besties mom who will be leaving in a couple of days I found out she loved 'Ulu or Breadfruit and after a Yelp experience with 'Ulu Mana and their 'Ulu Chips I had to give them a visit since we were just a couple doors down at Longs remembering that Foodland has been carrying their products though sadly as I searched and asked they didn't have it...sigh!Known to carry many locally made items Foodland has always been a cheerleader for our community along with the best poke bowl, this location parking is something to behold as it's the only struggle and that's something with patience is an easy fix, though a bit rough and older this location is convenient with the attached Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.Thank you!

Foodland at thai locale is pretty good. They always seem to have good manager "specials" which you can't beat really. Just have to look for them. Most of it is in the meat section. I just went in today and got Disney sized haha smoked turkey legs 4 for $15. With a sell by date of next week. They were cryovac which is even better. So yeah good deals to be had just gotta look for them. This place is highly organized and very clean. Never ate in the restaurant BUT from what I see it's must be good.

I went yesterday to get breakfast after visiting Golden Coin. It was a quick trip, I got the breakfast bento that had the bacon, and sausage patty with scrambled eggs and fried rice, along with a spam musubi and hot dog musubi. Both filled my craving.

Today Sept.4th went to Foodland Ewa Beach and bought cooked food from the deli. As usual the pasta in the dish I ordered was under cooked as usual, how can I believed it changed, after all these months. The meat balls was very salty and tasteless and spicy.Years ago I resided in Waipio Gentry, shopped at Foodland there and never had this experiene. The chili dish with Portuguese sausage, I bought a week ago was so awful, it was disgusting.I demand that to improve the taste and presentation of your deli food to fire both dietitian and chef. post haste.Aloha, may your business always thrive. I miss Sully

I don't really have a lot to say about the Ewa Beach location. I had a good experience though. Since I usually go to the Wahiawa or Mililani location, I wasn't too familiar with the store layout. Everything was easy to find and I was able to get the groceries that I had set out to get. The lady that had checked me out was super nice and friendly. If you are in the area and need groceries, I would go here!

Love this new item! As a non-seafood eater, this is my version of a poké bowl. I'm gonna start off by saying that this is a good looking presentation. Portion wise I think its reasonable for just $9.99. What I love about this food item is the taste. Theres a good tangy kick to it, thats way more better than the taste of their orange chicken. You can taste the karaage but its the sauce on the chicken that makes it give an extra boost of flavor. Hope this is a food item that stays for a while and not limited because I will be coming back for more of this chicken bowl.

Aloha Gas Station Ewa Town Center has made a change that doesn’t affect most people but has become a inconvenience for me. I have a Aloha Gas Card so that’s the only place I gas up. I get off work in the early morning hours and add gas before I go home because when I wake up it’s afternoon and I’m rushing to take care of things and then On my way to work. Now Aloha has a sign saying for the safety of its customers they will be shutting off the pumps once the booth is closed. I never had any problems where I felt I wasn’t safe. But now I have a problem of adding gas before rushing to work. I forget things when I rush too so have had to scrape up money to buy gas @ other gas stations. Noticing stores closing early and pumps being shut off makes it hard for night time workers to shop or put gas during a time convenient for them.

Not an avid fan for uncooked food, a bit weary getting Gastro issues while on vacation but locals called this fresh and produce moves pretty fast. So I tried and and got home to mainland with no issues at all, the poke was surely fresh but importantly never made me sick. Definitely suggested for visitors alike.

My go to foodland for poke! Only downside about this place is the parking is not the best. It's always so packed and you're bound to park far just to get to your destination. And the lines at the register get crazy long sometimes too. My favorites to get at their poke/seafood section is the california, spicy ahi and kimchi mussels! When heading towards the poke section, there are so many different pastries and desserts that looks so delicious! I always stare at them while walking past. Even sometimes I either get cupcakes, a single haupia or donuts. Their icees are a must as well!
