The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii is a large community center in West Oahu with extensive facilities including pools with water slides and a lazy river, a gym, a performing arts center, and various programs. Reviews find it a fantastic and beautiful facility that is clean, comfortable, and provides a peaceful, relaxing, and enchanting atmosphere for events. It is highlighted as a wonderful and best place for families, offering a bargain for family memberships that provide opportunities for family time, fitness, and fun with children, especially on weekdays when it is less crowded. The staff are generally described as super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. However, some criticisms note that class variety is limited, especially on weekends, and cleaning in some areas could be done more often. There are also complaints about the payment setup being dumb, with billing issues reported. The waterpark area can get super crowded on weekends. While day passes are available for non-members, making it fun for an occasional visit, the cost is noted as not something for every week. The center prohibits outside food but has an on-site cafe with reasonably priced items. Some operational aspects, like specific pool cleaning times and limited slide hours, are pointed out for visitors to plan around.
Love this gym! Friendly people & machines are easy to use. Well kept and clean

The Kroc Center has beautiful aesthetics and the atmosphere provided for the Candlelight Tribute to Taylor Swift concert was peaceful, relaxing, and enchanting. A wonderful experience and I would be happy to return to the center for another Candlelight concert!
