The parking lot lady was rude, and smoking a cigarette, while gossiping with the security guard. The security guard was rude, also, but obviously been to prison. I was frightened by the face tattoos

Great chill shopping area with good entries, parking, restrooms and a central tree shaded courtyard

An interesting collection of stores, food trucks, restaurants, and historical sites that will quickly give a visitor a good sense of local culture, cuisine, handicrafts, and other products. One can plan a visit around lunch, snacks, and/or dinner and one will not be disappointed. For this visit, my wife and I enjoyed the shrimp dishes of Seven Brothers.

If you live here we don’t venture a lot on this stretch in our town and I try to avoid it due to the overwhelming tourist. I go around it but visitors love it. Just remember to respect the people that live in our community! You see a lot of foolish behavior coming from visitors. Sad!

Bathrooms were terrible. Porta-potty's were "full" and lines were long!! The stores were clean and well stocked.Matsumoto shave ice was ridiculously long to wait , so we went to Aoki across the street. And it was even better !! Must try!! Great gift shop too!

Shopping complex in Haleiwa... Lots of tourist stores, mostly souvenirs. We had stopped there to go to Matsumoto Shave Ice that's really popular. Easy to find parking, a lot of spaces.

Fun collection of food, clothing, art, surf and gift shops with onsite free parking. The famous Matsumoto shave ice shop gets busy - watch out for bees who also enjoy shave ice syrup! Individual store hours vary and restrooms are limited so plan ahead.

Pretty sure most people were their for the Hawaiian ice. I didn't have any because the line was too long for me. However, decent amount of shops. I didn't find anything and lots of things closed at 5:pm.They did have two "art galleries" but those were closed by the time we got there. The seating areas were covered with peoples melted ice...syrup.The trash cans had swarms of bees... I still reluctantly used them but I was worried...

Some cool shops, a pretty courtyard, restrooms, and lots of parking makes this open-air, plantation-inspired, chicken-friendly, 27,000 square foot, retail center consisting of five repurposed historic buildings a must-stop on your North Shore tour. The biggest draw is Matsumoto's Shave Ice which people think is cool. Literally. The biggest surprise was Snoopy's Surf Shop, twice the size of the Diamond Head location. They have Whaler's General Store and 17 other businesses, many with roots in the area, including (as of 2/2023).Island Wear: Guava Shop (curated boutique specializing in beachy-chic), Kahala (modern vintage-inspired Aloha shirt), Mahina Boutique for women, Malibu Shirts (apparel doubling as museum), Splash! and T&C Surf (swimwear), and Snoopy's Surf Shop (separate review).Dining: Rajanee Thai Haleiwa, Teddy's Bigger Burgers (and mini Tiki bar), and Uncle Bo's Pupu Bar & GrillDrinks/Snacks: locally-sourced Hale'iwa Cane Juice, Island Vintage Coffee, and Matsumoto Shave Ice (separate review)Jewelry/Speciality: Beachwalk Gallery, Maui Divers Jewelry (w/ a very knowledgable worker), Moanu Woods. Art: Clark Little Gallery, Polu Gallery. and 808 Henna waterproof services.Mall-oha!

Loved the vibe. Lots of stores to peruse with many unique trinkets and souvenirs. The Art Studios/Galleries are impressive. Wonderful amount of diversity in the works. Of course, plethora of surfing products too.
