Sergio was a fantastic instructor! We did a 2 hour lesson where Sergio gave us clear instructions and corrections the entire time. We felt like we learned a ton and had so much fun. Will absolutely book with Sergio again next time we are in the north shore!!

We had a great experience with Sergio! My husband and 10 year old son both had success riding waves as first time surfers! We opted for the photo package and did not regret it! We got some great shots to keep as memories. We will definitely book with Island Style Surf again next time we are on the island.

Sergio’s the man, did 2 or 3 sessions over a week and rented a board from him in the meantime. Super helpful in giving me feedback on technique and letting me know some solid spots to go to and practice

I took two lessons with Sergio as a total kook so bless his heart for being so patient and amazing at teaching! His energy and the way he was so chill about teaching was huge. Sergio is the very best! He got our group of 3 brand new to surfing all up on our boards the first 30 minutes in! He helped us paddle out and taught us the most important things to know. He is patient, kind and a pro! Definitely going again with Sergio and Island Style Surf School! 10/10 recommend!

My partner and I attended a 2 person lesson with Sergio back in 2019 and we had a fantastic time. It was our first time trying surfing and we were very satisfied with Sergio’s instruction. I was able to stand on every ride! We also found that we were able to ride waves about 5-6 times each compared to people who were in large groups and were only able to ride 2 waves each. Highly recommend Sergio!

We scheduled several surf lesson with Sergio first while visiting Oahu and then after moving. Not only with our son, but took our friends kids when they came to visit as well. I cannot say enough good things about Island Style Surf School and highly recommend them to anybody of any age.

Sergio was incredible! Did a lesson with him on my own and had such a great experience that I brought all three of my kids to get a lesson from him as well. We had zero experience prior and by the time we were done we all were able to get up and catch some waves on the beautiful north shore. Sergio was patient, fun and incredibly humble. Great human, great experience and a great value for the money. Highly recommend!
