Ching Young Village Shopping Center is a charming and iconic destination in the heart of Hanalei on Kauai. It is a cool, unpretentious little village of over 30 local shops and vendors. The area offers lots of places to shop and eat, with good options between food, desserts, coffee, souvenirs, and restaurants. Visitors can find items like a nameplate surf board, license plate, sweatshirts, and spirit jerseys. There are also kayak rentals for river tours. The vibe is naturally welcoming and functional, not corporate. Parking is noted as limited or busy, requiring patience, but it is worth the walk around. Many would visit it again.

hanalei is a picturesque place. for that matter, the whole of the north shore is. we spent a couple of hours there. doing shopping, eating and exploring the cute shops and absorbing the views and vibes. please dont skip on the hanalei bay, beach, pier. I am sure it ll equally good views.

Fun place. Got practical sandals, postcards and ate at The Chicken Barrel, JoJos and The Terrace. Great little area! Oh, and shopped in the little market, and they had just what I needed!
