Welcome to paradise. Beautiful beach to relax and stroll. Enjoyed fresh coconut from man selling from back of his truck. Surf was rough that day, so didn't swim. But lovely just to chill.

Not a ton of parking but if you can get one, it's good beach access. Washrooms are good for changing but it could use some repair. Homeless people were staying there as well - they didn't seem dangerous or anything though. It has a lifeguard tower where they are well equipped to do water rescues.

Pretty sunset over the mountains so it didn’t last super long but the beach was lovely. Very soft sand and warm water.

Hanalei Pavilion Beach Park is a stunning gem! With its breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters, it's perfect for a relaxing day. The pier offers a thrilling jump into the refreshing ocean. A must-visit spot in Hanalei! ???

This beach is the ideal size to spread out and enjoy paradise. We body boarded here multiple times with ideal waves for beginners. Wonderful spot to watch the sunrise or set as well. Also, one of the beach parks with the most ample parking and facilities.

This is a great little beach, but parking is sorely limited. Plan on parking a few blocks away and walking, but it is worth the effort. Our small folk enjoyed it so much they were always sad to leave. Even (or especially?) when they had been there all day.It is close enough that you can park near Ching Young Village and walk, and then you can visit all the interesting shops on the way!Playground: Nominal, the beach is the attraction here.Restrooms: Small but usually clean, Just use common sense.Dog-friendliness: Not the best beach for the pets, look elsewhere so they can have a better, pet-friendly experience.Picnic area: rudimentary, and usually occupied unless you get there just as someone is leaving. Plan on eating on the sand or back at your temporary home.

Perfect beach to walk along the shore and not too crowded.

Great place for learning to surf, or practicing surfing. Many surf instructors are clearly running classes from this location. Consistent shore break due to several sand bars in the bay. Outdoor shower and restroom facilities were in good repair (but still rustic). Parking is tight, you are likely to end up parking on the road or farther down at Blackpot Beach Park by the mouth of the Hanalei river at the end of the road.Restrooms: Better repair than the ones at Kapa'a Beach parkPicnic area: Open grassy area, only a couple of tables. Community sink is a plus for rinsing large items or getting water.

What a spectacular place! The waves were way too fierce to go swimming when we visited, but it was a lovely walk on the beach. We walked toward the mountains, and then back toward the pier, for a total of about half a mile. Quick note: the waves were so big when we went that the water was splashing over the pier and could be a danger to kids (and adults if they’re not paying attention!). There were modest restrooms at the pavilion. This is a great activity for an hour or two, you don’t need to stay all day.

Very pretty. Easy walk. Can pick up boogie and surf boards to carry. About a 7-10 minute walk from main strip.

Parking is tight, but the space is great. There is a lifeguard on duty and there are freshwater outdoor showers to rinse off in. Easy walk back to the main road and restaurants.Restrooms: Basic but functional

This was our favourite beach on Kauai, the kids had a blast just hanging out on the shore getting knocked over by waves. It was so beautiful too!
