Eli is very knowledgeable and instrument savvy. If you’re on Kauai I recommend even going out of your way to look at this shop. Its all about finding the instrument that speaks to you. The store is musician owned. You absolutely can’t go wrong.

Awesome little family owned shop. Picked up a great little Uke, Eli was super helpful, price was great.
They do live music and lessons. Went back Friday night for the live music and wow! Just amazing. Love local, love family run, and love music? This is your place!

Dropped by with my brother who's more of a music guy. I didn't buy anything, but I'm writing a review because of how impressed I was with my visit. The store staff were in the process of setting up for an evening in-store concert and you could tell that it was going to be a fun time. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They had a wide selection of ukuleles from cheap to expensive and a handful of other small instruments, but it was clear that the uke's were the star. Some of the other instruments were relatively cheap (<$50) in case anyone was looking to bring the entertainment back to their house, hotel, or condo.

we bought a Makala ukulele for our four year old. it's a fun strum and is very durable. the young man in the shop helped us find the right instrument, tuned us up, and gave me a few pointers as a dad who plays guitar but needs to learn uke chords. fun times, this place is first class.

The cutest, nicest music store with very knowledgeable, friendly people. So fun to take a ukalale class while on vaca. We just found out at the end of our time in Hanalei. Highly recommend a visit! Mahalo Nui for your kindness!

Don’t waste your time. Picked up a guitar, played for 2 mins before asked to “play quietly.” So that she could make a call. No one else was in the store.

We took the group ukulele lessons and had a great time. You can choose any ukulele on the wall and get great beginner lessons from an exceptional instructor. My wife had never played, and the end she wanted her own ukulele. There was a concert after the lesson with an amazing quartet. Definitely stop by and check out this shop.

Stopped in for a visit to peruse the ukuleles and guitars. I'm a pro level jazz guitarist.Inventory features mostly budget friendly Kala brand ukes. Though if you want something a bit more hand made of premium woods, the store carries the Raymond Rapozo Island Ukulele company instruments (Of which I own one).Sat with the employee for a 20 minute conversation and to play several ukes. We had a grand old time, he was laid back, friendly and happy to talk about music and instrument making.Prices for the instruments are competitive with the three other stores on Kauai.
