The Waipa Farmers Market is a charming, tourist-focused market managed by the non-profit Waipa Foundation. It operates from 3pm to dusk on Tuesdays, serving as a perfect late lunch and gift-shopping stop. While the fresh produce vendors are few and far between, the selection includes delicious local fruit like mangoes, white pineapples, papayas, and bananas. Most vendors sell handmade merchandise, clothing, jewelry, health-related teas, and homemade cooked foods. The market features very talented and friendly local vendors, though some note the produce is priced for visitors. It is a nice market with fresh produce and locally crafted products, full of Aloha flavor.
I thoroughly enjoy the relaxed vibe of this farmer's market. Music playing as you walk around stalls set up with majestic Kauai mountains in the background, it is difficult to not find something here to return home with. Exquisite pleasure.

Perfect late lunch and gift shopping stop next to the Waipā Park-and-ride after hiking to Hanakapiai Beach in the morning. Very talented and friendly local vendors!

I think it needs to be open more times in the week. This would attract more people and this more participation by the vendors.
