We love Hearts for Animals Every time we visit Oahu we make sure we spend as much time with them as possible. JoAnn and Felix are very kind and take such a good care of horses, donkeys, goat, chickens, pigs and more. They are true inspiration . We even got a chance to volunteer and spend quality time with them. If you get a chance to do the same consider yourself blessed

I have spent time volunteering for Hearts For Animals for several weeks. I have a personal relationship with all the animals here. The donkeys, pigs, chickens, dog and especially the horses. JR, Libra and Samantha are siblings and very sweet. They all line up to love you. Sabrina is the blonde palomino who's mane looks like a mermaid and she is a total foodie! Max is the older one who enjoys being pet, and spoken to a lot. Chippewa is the alpha male who has taught these horses how to interact with humans in such a kind way, as his father and mother taught him before they grew old and passed. This is a non profit organization. Anyone who loves horses, and helping animals can contribute in any way. Such as feed, construction to reinforce horse stables, reused wood for building, monetary donations, debris removal, anything you can offer or think of. Or if you simply want to meet the horses for therapy or love we greatly appreciate your interest please reach out to the owner.

I love animals from the bottom of my heart so I was very much looking forward to visiting. I wish I could recommend but I left soon after arriving. Just my personal opinion but I feel the level of care could really be brought up quite a bit. I hope to see some much needed improvements in the future.

Joann and Felix are amazing people... Who really work hard helping animals and people in our community.. They have been there to help when called upon for several of our dog rescues... much love and appreciation to HFAI
