A few months ago before i got this Yelp downloaded, i came into the store with my back pack mind you I didn't drive so i caught the Bus there to buy taro, mind you bought 2 bags of taro and was yelled at the lady who was at the door because she wanted me to leave my bag at the door. I am completely deaf In my left year so I get the yelling but the way she was yelling was In a mean tone, she could had got up and walked over to tell me that putting bags on the side was a policy. When she saw that i was friends with the manager From Tamuras she changed her tune. Ive been shopping at this place for years, Im usually with my older sister when i shop here, after I got yelled at I decided to stop shopping here. I am almost 50 years old and i am not a thief. So sad that I wont be shopping anymore for my keiki here.

Small store in Hauula that I have patronized since I was a kid. They have a small selection of grocery items but they offer a great selection of food for people on the go

Tried their new Korean restaurant that replaced Hauʻula Korean BBQ. Small portions (Except for the rice) which didn't matter because the food tasted horrible. Worst Meat Jun I ever had. Worst everything. Salad had no taste, kim chee was spoiled. No other vegetables besides that. All for $13 and some change. Definitely never eating there again. IDC how convenient. I miss Hauʻula Korean BBQ!

It sells Polynesian food which is great. Unfortunately, when I was there, the cooked food was out understandably because it was around 5pmish and it was Father's Day. Totally fine but when I was opening some of the food stuffs, flies came out, not one but three came buzzing (literally) out of those food. They had fai ai fe'e, cabbage for the fasi povi (no fasi povi), teriyaki chicken, luau pe'epe'e, chop suey, and other food. I'm not one trying to put any stores reputation down but there was still food in there and I would have bought it if not for those flies flying out. I'm giving this a 3 because they had bongos and cookies (Monte Carlo) to name a few. Maybe next time, I'll have a better experience. They do have bulk stuffs that I've seen at the store.
