I really like Aikane Nursery and have been using them/going there for about seven years. Brad and a crew has come out and planted trees at my place a few times and I go to the nursery and buy plants regularly. As with all live plantings, some survive better than others, but it's always a fun experience seeing what will thrive in my harsh growing conditions. I always know when I'm looking for something Brad is going to have a way to source it if it's available in Hawai'i. I'm happy I found Aikane all those years ago and always recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Unfortunately I would avoid Aikane Nursery if you’re looking for healthy plants- I have made the drive up north several times, hoping to find things better than the last time, but always find many many sad looking plants, and several times bought plants that look sickly, assured by the nursery that they would spring back up, and after much care, they don’t.I would also be wary of recent 5 star reviews- management is offering incentives in the form a $100 gift card drawing for “stellar” reviews :(

GREAT nursery! Definitely worth the pleasant drive. Have been there several times and the staff is uber knowledgeable and helpful. They have tons of choices and the plants are beautiful and healthy! They have related services and I hired them to install a gate in my garden, and they did an exceptional job.

I have the honor to be a first generation customer of Aikane Nursery. It has been more than seven years and I continue to be very pleased with their lawn service. I have watched their best workers start at the bottom and work their way up the ladder to become team leaders. Their crew is always reliable, respectful and hardworking. It is a pleasure to see local young men and women learn new skills and develop responsibility and a positive work ethic. In addition, the office and on site nursery staff is competent and responsive. It has been a pleasure to do business with Aikane, and watch them grow and become more sophisticated and successful. Mahalo!

Got my mom some Christmas presents here, they have a wonderful selection in a beautiful area. Everything was so healthy and many great native options and lots of fruit trees. Definitely want to come back for a big finger lime someday. Staff was awesome too very helpful and knowledgeable

My experience with Aikane has always been excellent. They have by far the best collection of natives on the island, a huge selection of ground covers, and fruit/ornamental trees that are not available many places.

Brandon, Bobby and Matt did a terrific job trimming nearly 50 mature trees around our home. What looked like a bushy tangle of branches and leaves now looks like beautifully sculpted groves of stately Koa and ornamental cherry trees. They are a knowledgeable, personable, talented, efficient, and hard working crew. My wife and I were calling them the “tree artists” before they were done. We recommend them highly.

These guys did a terrific job on our koa trees. All trees are much more sculptural and healthy looking after trimming. Before they were finished, my wife and I were calling them the tree artists. They showed up on time, planned each cut with future growth and appearance in mind, worked efficiently until the job was done, and cleaned up at the end of each days work. We are very happy with the work and highly recommend Aikane Nursery.And, they are doing a great job with mowing and lawn maintenance too!Aloha,Phil and Victoria

Had alot of huge Ironwood trees to be trimmed down to managable size, long row of mexican cyprus to top, fruit trees and chipping to be done. The crew was fantastic, very friendly, willing to work with me for all aspects of the the project including changes. Put in almost 8 days with us, worked hard, very skillfully, even with some challenging trees to manage and Bobby did an amazing job shaping our very leggy jacarandas. I highly recommend them and plan to use their services again
