I recently needed new tires for both my car and my mom’s car, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience thanks to Ceara! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough- always taking the time to explain services clearly and answer any questions with care. Ceara truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Big thanks to Ceara for making the whole process easy and pleasant! It’s rare to find someone so dependable, professional, and genuinely kind in a customer service role. Firestone is lucky to have her! If you're visiting Firestone, I highly recommend asking for Ceara—you’ll be in great hands.

I wanted to take the time and say thank you to Ceara and Robert who works in the front. I want to thank them on delivering excellent customer service. Also wanted to thank the technician Arjay who came out and check out my battery and assured me everything is going to be good to go when I’m on the road. Thank you Firestone you made my day. I’ll will be for sure to come back again.

Robert was super helpful. I was able to make a same day appointment to buy tires, get an alignment and a state safety inspection. Super friendly and helpful, and get the work done quickly. This was one of the easiest stops on my long list of PCS to-dos! Thanks guys! Wish I had used this location before today.

I waited over 4 1/2 hrs to do safety on a sunday which they still never got to my truck i ended up just getting my keys back and leaving i dont not recommend you to go here unless you like wasting your time. You can go to any other shops off base and be out of there under 15 to 45 mins

I didn’t have an appointment for my safety inspection, but I called before and they told me to bring it in and they could complete the inspection between appointments. I thought it would take all day but they called in a couple hours saying it was ready. Everybody was very polite. I was pleasantly surprised because other people seem to have had a lot of issue.

I drop off my work vehicle for regular maintenance as Firestone is one of few vendors that my company approves to work with. While the staff is friendly, sadly they’re not great with contacting their customers afterwards to let you know that your vehicle is ready for pickup. You literally can go weeks without no one calling to inform you, and yet when you’re the one calling to check on the status, they tell you that the vehicle’s been ready for several days and they “called you” (my caller ID says otherwise). I would take my vehicle elsewhere…except the next closest place is several miles away in the heart of Honolulu. So I’m at the mercy of Firestone. Just one phone call immediately after completing the job makes the difference between getting a two star review (which I’m leaving) and a five star. Do better.

Even though there is a bit of a wait because they are busy constantly, I've had no issues, and they provided friendly service along with recommendations.

Time management by the staff here is awful. While friendly, they are unable to provide accurate estimates for completion. We dropped our vehicle off for an appointment at 1300. It's now 1600, the vehicle isn't finished yet. We scheduled a state inspection and an oil change, and our vehicle wasn't even moved to the back until an hour and a half later. What's the point of making an appointment if your vehicle won't be worked on til several hours later? If you're short on time, don't come here.

I brought my 2016 Cadillac ESV with 69,000 miles in for service because the A/C was giving me the cold shoulder—except without the cold. They recharged the system and added a dye to detect leaks, even honored a $9.99 coupon I found online (score!). A month later, the A/C threw a fit again and stopped blowing cold air. Clearly, it had deeper issues. After scheduling an appointment, they replaced the condenser and evaporator for a total cost of $530, parts and labor included. The repair was completed in two days. The price was fair, and the service was so good that my Cadillac is now cooler than a polar bear's toenails. Highly recommend!

I also wish I had checked the reviews before dropping off my car. The Firestone I would go to at Fort Meade was so reliable, I didn’t think the one on Hickam would be much different.
I will say, the store was clean and everyone working there was friendly and polite. I was able to drop my car off on a short notice which I appreciated. The oil change was a reasonable price and I also opted in for that option for convenience.
I knew my car was likely having issues with the starter. My car would take 2-4 times turning the ignition to start the engine. Also, I recently replaced the battery. I told the employee the same thing when I dropped off the car. I specifically did this on a Saturday so my car would be fixed before the normal work week. I had important work events occurring this week and did not want to have a car showing signs that it could not start the ignition. As I previously said, I was happy at the time that drop offs were available on short notice.
I knew the shop was done with inspecting the vehicle due to an email I received detailing that the starter was in the green. I waited 30-45 min before calling them to give them time to call me first. The only time the front desk called me was when the car was finished.
They recommended a bunch of unrelated updates to the car EXCEPT the starter. It shows on the paperwork that the starter was in the ‘green.’ I agreed to two of the items and walked out spending several hundred dollars thinking my car would be fixed.
It was raining during the weekend, so outside of the mechanic shop trip, I didn’t drive anywhere else except to work on Monday.
On Tuesday/Today, my car did not start. I had to miss an important work event, call a tow truck and take the car to another mechanic shop that would take me last minute ($$$). Guess what? The starter was bad.
During the repair time, the other mechanic shop called to ask if I had recently gotten a belt worked on. Yes, but I asked why: because they found a foot and a half long wrench that was left inside the car. Glad my car is working now. I wish I hadn’t wasted several hundred dollars at Firestone just to go spend more money somewhere else to fix the actual problem.
If y’all want the wrench back, it’s at Masaki’s Auto Shop.
