After submitting our offer on a house, we decided to switch from a VA loan to a conventional loan from a local lender in order to be more competitive for a property that received 5 offers. Len Pagan and his team worked QUICKLY to make the conventional loan happen and our offer was the one selected by a buyer that wanted to close as fast as possible. Mr Pagan was always available and answered emails and phone calls without haste. When I needed him to call my realtor to give an update, it was done right away. Their phone app and web page made gathering and submitting the needed paperwork easy and I always knew where I was in the process. I didn't know about Academy Mortgage previously as they were recommended to me by my realtor, but I'd gladly do business with them again and highly recommend them.

Len is extremely rude, refuses to meet in person, speaks down to you and insisted on a large down payment for a VA loan which requires NO down payment! He yells on the phone, cuts you off but claims youre the one that cut him off, then he hangs up on you! Totally unprofessional, he has no concern for you, just chasing the money!
